It appears that 6867 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape is not the only set LEGO Shop at Home (USA | Canada) listed. Most of the other January LEGO Superheroes 2012 sets are also listed with an expected availability date on December 15, 2011 (shown below). You can search the sets up to see additional pictures and descriptions for the sets. But the main point of this article is to point out the prices.
The good news is that Toys R Us did in fact mark up 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City to $39.99 as LEGO is listing this set as $34.99. For Canadians, the prices for the Ultrabuild figures are much closer to the US prices than they were before (normally $19.99 CAD when sets are $14.99 USD).
Now the bad news is that LEGO continues to raise their “licensed battle pack” prices (6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase is now $12.99 USD / $15.99 CAD). If they keep this up, in a few more years, we’ll start geting $20 battle packs!
