CARLSBAD, Calif. (July 16, 2020) – Just one mile from beautiful beaches, LEGOLAND® Hotel at LEGOLAND® California Resort is opening its doors to guests today for the first time in months with room rates as low as $169 a night! The hotel built for kids offers families a chance to create some fun memories this summer as they enjoy splashing at the pool, experiencing the more than 3,500 LEGO® models featured throughout the Hotel, a treasure hunt to unlock a safe filled with LEGO treasure inside every room plus other amenities such as room service and cabana service around the pool.

Not only is LEGOLAND Hotel reopening, but “The Big Shop” inside the Park, which offers the largest assortment of LEGO products in the West Coast, is opening with limited hours for Hotel guests and the public and is offering an exclusive treat: The first, second and third place winning LEGO models from the hit FOX TV show, “LEGO® MASTERS” will be on display! The three intricate models include: “Treasure of the Griffin” built by Amy and Tyler Clites of Bradenton, Florida; “Artopia” built by Boone Langston of Troutdale, Oregon and Mark Cruickshank of Oregon City, Oregon; and “The Peacock and the Monkey” built by Sam Hatmaker of Los Angeles, California and Jessica Ewud of Redding, Connecticut. The Big Shop will also be open to the public, with parking free of charge, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekend and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.

As guests and employees’ health and safety remain the top priority at LEGOLAND California Resort, guests will experience some differences at the Hotel including reduced capacity, cashless payments, social distancing practices and enhanced cleaning regimes. Face coverings will be required for all guests three years of age and up as well as all hotel staff members.

With the first opening weekend almost entirely sold out, LEGOLAND Hotel is encouraging guests to book their reservations online where they can choose from five different room themes: Pirate, Adventure, Kingdom, LEGO® Friends and LEGO® NINJAGO.

The staff at LEGOLAND Hotel is eager to welcome back guests as LEGOLAND Park, LEGOLAND® Water Park and SEA LIFE® aquarium await county and state approval for the entire Resort’s proposed reopening. Guests are highly encouraged to visit the Resort’s website for further guest experience and visiting details. For more information, visit: www.legoland.com/california.
