Found the New Lego Batman Movie Sets

Post by Tazman » Thu Nov 17, 2016 5:32 pm

Lego Batman Movie Sets.jpg
I was able to find four of the Lego Batman Movie Sets last night at Target. They have Set #70901 Mr. Freeze Ice Attack, Set #70905 The Batmobile, Set #70906 The Joker Notorious Lowrider, and Set #70909 Batcave Break-In. They didn't have them on the shelf, but if you ask they might get them for you from the back. Just give them the DPCI number.

Those numbers are in order as listed above:
204-00-1946
204-00-1950
204-00-1951
204-00-1954

Cool
Look, you wake up one day, and your legs, they just give and you just can't run anymore.

Is Joker's car box bigger than the Bat Hotrod? Very odd.

It is exactly the same size as the batmobile set box, which is strange since it has about 150 more pieces.

And isn't Joker $40-50 and the Bat one $20 more? It is a little odd.

Thanks for the box pictures, nice to see them. :)

The Joker Lowrider is really growing on me. Is it worth it though?

If its not too much trouble can you provide prices that you paid for each? Very curious what retail will be for each (not speculation). Thanks!

LEGO has been releasing the prices as they released the pictures. The prices are just all over the price when it comes to price per piece.

70900 Joker Balloons $15
70901 Catwoman $20
70902 Freeze $20
They can be attached to make one scene.

70903 Riddler is $30
70904 Clayface is $35
(Not sure if those prices have been confirmed.)

70905 Batmobile is $60
70906 Joker's Car is $50 (Which is way overpriced so let's hope that was a typo and LEGO says $40.)
70907 Killer Croc is $70 (Not sure that is confirmed.)
70908 The Scuttler is $80
70909 Batcave is $100
70912 Arkham is $150 (But is a TRU Exclusive, so say $180 ;-) )

My Target in San Diego CA had them in the back, but asked an employee using the DCPI code and got a Joker Lowrider! YAY :) Anyone happen to have the DPCI code for the Catwoman cycle?

Nope not wrong...

Yes it's TRU, but in their normal weird way the prices for the other sets are MSRP so the darn car is $50!

Anyone seen these anywhere in Canada? I mean they're on the US TRU website, Lego's listing a bunch of stuff as 'coming soon', but no B+M seems to have them, nor any Canadian webstore...?

I'd say try WalMart, but ultimately I'm not too sure. However I was told by some employees at the Lego store in Winnipeg that they will be available on the 26th. I would presume that would include online as well.

Edit: Check your local Mastermind Toys (if you have one), there is a good chance they'll have them. I was recently at the one in Red Deer and they had 5 of them: the batmobile, Jokers low rider, the batcave, the Mr Freeze one, and the scuttler. I asked someone who worked there and they mentioned that they had the others but couldn't sell them until January 1st.
