LEGO Star Wars HH-87 Starhopper @ Ross
This one was for $32.99 and some Nindroid Mech Dragons were priced $60+. These are retired sets and they've made their way to discount stores! Hopefully they release other ones as well!
Re: LEGO Star Wars HH-87 Starhopper @ Ross
I've actually seen the Starhooper around since summer. Last week I saw the small Elves set and small Ninjago set with the tournament Kai for $5.59.
Re: LEGO Star Wars HH-87 Starhopper @ Ross
Guess it's time to check all the discounters, saw the above sets and grabbed the Farron Elves set for $9.99 (MSRP $14.99), my first of that line and it looks like it has some interesting pieces. Also saw a smattering of TF kre-o and call of duty Mega Bloks.
Re: LEGO Star Wars HH-87 Starhopper @ Ross
Hit one by me last night, got a 76006-1: Iron Man: Extremis Sea Port Battle. Had a couple more, wondering if I should go back and grab. Think they were 13.99 or something so basically 30% off.
Also saw the Farron Elves set for the same $ 9.99 as ponie did.
Where do they get these from anyways and where else do I need to be checking for Lego now? lol The wife already wants to kill me half the time stopping places to check for legos.

During the holidays is when they get most toys at Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, but as videriant said, some of them have been around since summer. Sometimes there are LEGO sets at Big Lots as well.SweepyD wrote:Hit one by me last night, got a 76006-1: Iron Man: Extremis Sea Port Battle. Had a couple more, wondering if I should go back and grab. Thanks for the note, I knew Ross and TJ would get lego, but last night was the first time I saw anything beyond the Duplo with a book set. Time to find big lots and Marshalls!

Careful, you can get some of those for cheaper. Amazon has mechdragons for just over 60$. You can get them for 60$ on eBay buy it now or with bids for less...I bought 2 6 months ago for 32$...and left 10 others on the shelf.
Sometimes the sets found at places like Ross, even though they are cheaper than MSRP, are there because they didn't sell well even on clearance in a normal store and you can still find them for a better price.

I agree, don't buy it just because it's at Ross. I've been seeing the Iron Man set since summer and I just couldn't buy it . I already own 1 and the pieces don't justify owning another at 30%. Not sure how much future value it'll have either since Iron Man are a dime a dozen so War Machine is the main one that could increase the set's future value.

Stopped by Marshalls and TJ Maxx and saw a couple of different chima sets, only remembered one Mammoth's frozen stronghold for 44.99 and the other was $29.99. Tuesday Morning had some mixels for 3.99 (oddly enough my walmart had there's shelf tagged for 3.47) and i don't know which series since i don't follow that line.

Found one Lord Business Evil Lair for $52.99 earlier today, for anyone who missed the sale of movie sets at TRU.
