[CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
So I found the SImpsons at Walmart today (May 1). They scanned at $3.49 (Eat that USA!) They had four boxes and four boxes of Lego Movie figures too. Haven't seen those in months!
This was the Walmart in Barrie, Ontario. (Bayfield street)

Target Canada is charging $3.49 as well, I picked up a full case in Richmond BC.

Were there anymore at Lansdowne?timtosino wrote:Target Canada is charging $3.49 as well, I picked up a full case in Richmond BC.
Chapters has it for $3.50 a pop too.
Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
There were two cases out around noon. I picked up a sealed case and the other one had about 60% left. They will probably have more in the back I'd imagine. Toys R Us had about 5 or 6 cases freshly opened around the time but I didn't ask for the price.Legobrandon wrote: Were there anymore at Lansdowne?

I'm seeing Chapters at 3.95
Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
I purchased a box at Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto.
Box scanned at $210.00.
My wife had an irewards card which entitles you to discount so I got the box discounted by a further $11.00 dollars.
Total box cost $200.00+ tax

Where did you buy it? I paid $237 from Indigo at Yonge and Eglinton. They charged me for 60 x $3.95.omalak wrote:I purchased a box at Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto.

I picked them up from Target Orillia. Spent some time there (it was quiet) feeling the packages to get my set and a few specific extras for friends. $3.49 each plus the red card discount.

Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
I hope I'm not offending anyone buy why would someone buy a whole box?
I thought one set would be more than enough..
btw my local Oakville WM still doesn't have any box out yet... I walked around and still see no sign
what about Mississauga WM?
Thanks in advance

Use coupon code 15OFFWEEKENDS for 15% off on Chapters.ca. Works out to be $3.36/fig. You won't get to feel the packs, but you could order 40-50 and return the ones you don't want at a local Chapters.
ps: I'm not sure if returning the figures back to Chapters is a good practice.

Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
Not sure what the price per bag at chapters is. But if you buy a box there are two ways to purchase from chapters.
1. Scan box barcode (this allows no returns of individual bags)
2. Buy a box or individual bags, chapters will scan 1 bag and enter the qty you purchase (this allows the return of bags you dont want).
Maybe there is a price difference between the box bar code and the price per bag. Not sure..
But if you do buy from chapters try to find someone who has an irewards card for additional discount.
I have not had any issues returning at chapters I returned almost 35 bags of series 10 once, while on my hunt for mr.gold (who I never found). It takes a while as they have to scan each bag but it makes for a good lego convo with the cashier lol.
In regards to why buy a box? It is not what you think. I do not sell or hoard. In fact I got a few people at work interested in the simpsons house and when I told them about the minifigs they wanted a set as well. So it was worth buying the box as I am garunteed 3 complete sets.
We had a nice bag feeling session over lunch lol...

Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
The box was sealed and offered the best chance of finding the figures I want and getting friends the figures they wanted rather than feeling through bags in the store. Are the ones people are finding at Chapters still sealed as well? (I went by Richmond Target yesterday and they were all gone)
Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
Sold out in the Richmond Target, Toys R Us still has loose ones.
The Assistant Manager at Toys R Us told me I got the last box, this was 8PM last night.

Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
In Calgary, found the Simpsons minifigs for $3.50 at Country Hills Walmart (May 2, 2014). 2 boxes in one aisle, 3 boxes in another.
Had previously checked Target at Market Mall (listed for $3.50 but no stock left, supposed to be boxes on the floor but employee couldn't find them).
Coles at Market Mall had them for $3.95.
Toys R US Market Mall had them for $3.99.
Northland Walmart didn't have them on the floor.
The thrill of the hunt! I ended up buying 11 in this series so a $0.50 savings added up. Good luck finding them at $3.50!

Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
I went to WM @ Square One today and finally got what I wanted!
Can confirm there are still 4 open boxes left.
I'm actually getting really good by using the "feel" method and got what I want with this Simpsons set.
This set is by far the easiest to feel the minifig accessories.
Good luck everyone!

Indigo Chapters has them at $3.95 a piece. In and out of the store in 30 mins with a full set. Planning to order 16 online and return those.
Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
Thanks for the post jmjm. I was able to get a sealed case from the Country Hills Walmart in Calgary because of it. If anyone is still looking for these in Calgary there are still 3 partial cases in that store (as of the evening of May 4). There are two partial cases in the usual Lego isle and one partial case in the overflow toy isle. I didn't see any more sealed cases.
Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
Hooray! I'm so happy to hear my post helped you get a case! Thanks for the post jmjm. I was able to get a sealed case from the Country Hills Walmart in Calgary because of it.
I don't know if you saw the opened cases, the one I was feeling through I turned the packages around backwards so I can keep track of which ones I've already inspected. Forgot to flip them back around .
This series is a bit more challenging to feel for as the heads are bizarre shapes and four minifigs have square tiles. I've managed to get the ones I wanted so far by trying to find the smaller accessories (those ones usually fall into the corners of the package) first and then vaguely feeling the heads.
The head molds really are lovely. Justifies the price increase, although I hope they don't keep the higher price for subsequent regular series. I wish they did Bombur bellies for Homer and Chief Wiggum but other than that no complaints.
If Lego comes out with a Kwik-e-Mart set it'll be very hard to resist...

Re: [CAN]: Simpsons Minifigures spotted at Walmart
Found over 10 boxes of Simpsons minifigures at North Vancouver Walmart today. They were barely touched. The store sold $3.49 each. It was rare to see Canada LEGO product's MRSP same as U.S.A. Actually, it was my first time to see that Canada Walmart sold LEGO at a regular price lower than U.S.A. Walmart.
This CMF series was one of the easiest to feel with. The most challenging part was to identify Milhouse, Ralph Wiggam, and Grampa Simpson after feeling the 2x2 tile.
