Brick&Blue...
That was Thanksgiving night right? I placed an order for Batman The Penguin Faceoff and TMNT Karai Bike Escape to get the 2 free polybags. My order has already arrived and it contained the two sets mentioned plus the 2x free polybags as expected. I too am curious to see if others got the same as you or if you were just lucky. Happy for you!

I pulled the trigger on the Arkham Asylum set, I already received my order with my poly and did not get any bonus Penguin set. I am slightly annoyed but good score for those that got it. If it was actually on your order form that is strange but I guess it was your lucky day.

So no one else got it? This is very very odd. At first I thought it was a mistake, but it's listed on the package slip and has no price.

I was at a local TRU and they had the new Minecraft "The End" marked for $16.98. They had to do an over-ride but they gave it to me and then quickly changed the sign to the correct amount.

my local Liquidation store had a pallet of returned walmart legos. I picked up 4 Death Stars in mint sealed from the lego factory with outer box condition for 960$

Ultra Agents Hurricane Heist #70164 reduced 50% to $35! (regular $70)
Princes Merida's Highland Games reduced 50% to 9.99 (reg 19.99)

Both at my local Meijer's. Both had clearance stickers for 50% off but the Ultra Agents set rang up $55. Had to get a manager to fix the price to match the sticker ($35).

Ninjago Nindroid Mechdragon 70725 retail $89.99 for $34.50 at my local Wal-mart

It was nowhere near the toy department or area where I normally look for clearance. It was on a rolling cart with Megablok sets and other random items (plus 2 Chima sets). There was at least 5 of Nindroid Mechdragon 70725 left on the cart. It was marked $69.00 but on the side there was a tiny $34.50 sticker on both ends of the box that I almost didn't notice. I asked in Electronics for a price. It rang up $69 but the worker said that they had marked them for the discount price and had to get a manager to override the price which they did with no trouble :-)

It was on a rolling cart in front of the dairy case in the grocery department. Strange place to put a clearance cart of toys. I was tempted to buy 2-3 for this price but only took one since I know very little about the set. At $34.50 for 5 minifigures (2 rare) and 691 pieces I couldn't resist one to buy for parts.

Got GotG 76021 for $28.12 @ Meijer . Was 50% off clearance price. So like 62.5% off MSRP. Best score I've gotten in quite awhile.

Wow! Nice! My meijers is smaller and never got that set. I was tempted to drive to a bigger Meijer's in another town but big possibility it wouldn't be there... I like the figures in that set. I don't know much about the parts for the build but I would definitely pay that for it. Nice

At a local Bargain Hunt store (sells overstock, scratch and dents, refurbs) I found..
Daily Bugle Showdown for $30 (retail $49.99)
Cloud Cuckoo Palace for $12 (retail $19.99)

Box of the Daily Bugle Showdown was slightly damaged. I was very pleased to find it at this price as it is most likely retired or being retired soon and it includes Doctor Doom.

I swung by Target tonight on the way home, mainly because it was near a few stops I had to make and I felt like it. I wandered into the Lego aisle and saw sitting on the shelf 70008 Gorzan's Gorilla Striker. I immediately took it over to the scanner to check the price. "Item Not Found." I asked the employee in the department if he could get me a price. He sent me to the Customer Service desk. After a few minutes of checking, the employee at the Service Desk called the Manager, whom told him to call the Toys associate. Long story short, I got it for $20. :-D

Not a steal being it was 30 cents more than the MSRP of $3.99, but today at Target I found a Harry Potter polybag 30111. I think the set is horrible, and useless, everyone has a Harry, but I also figured it might be worth more because the theme is retiring.

Spotted a LEGO Duplo Giant Tower XXL 10557 building set for $7 at Walmart in Mountain View Calif. (Old Black Friday Item?) I Wasn't interested so I left it on the shelf. I thought about grabbing it and reselling it but left it for someone who really wanted it. Anyone interested may want to go down and grab it if it's still there.

Update: As expected it is now gone. I don't know if someone found it by themselves. (Most likeliest scenario)

Found a Atlantis Exploration Headquarters set (the transforming sub one) for $8.08 at Goodwill the other day. It was used, and was missing a few pieces, but other than 2 small domes, I was able to replace all of them. Stickers were not applied but included as were the instruction books. For 473 pieces it was a great deal. What I found hilarious was that without the bags, the pieces took up less than 20% of the box. They could have reduced the size of that box by over half and it still would have had lots of space. Anyway, my son loves Atlantis so he was thrilled. Spent last night washing all the parts and putting it together with him.
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?
