LEGO Friends Toy Fair Report

LEGO Friends featured one of the largest new waves of the show. This summer's subtheme is "Pop Star" and the sets feature a magenta and black color scheme while the box art features colors and designs reminiscent of the light show during a concert. On a personal note, my daughter will be thrilled as magenta and black is exactly the color scheme of her room.

Nine new products were on display, including this year's Friends Advent Calendar, four "general" Friends sets, and four offerings in the "Pop Star" subtheme. All are slated for release in August 2015 save for the Advent Calendar, which I think will be available in September.

Emma's Tourist Kiosk and the hotel have a new 1 by 1 with a scroll on it like a corbel, which is awesome, and the hotel has a curved transom window.
