Lego May the 4th sneek peak

Post by slacker » Fri Apr 25, 2014 2:00 pm

Just got an email from Lego about a sneak peak for May 4th. What a tease! Besides Darth Raven, you get a free poster on any Starwars sale. Still waiting to see what deals they have.

Do you think their list of their favorite Star Wars items offers any clues?

Might actually get the malevolence at that price.

darn, not really a fan of clone wars sets. They are the only ones with decent discount. May get another Skiff.

I was hoping to get the Red Five X-wing at a discount, I guess I'll wait until the next 2x points to get it.

Sales aren't too good, but there's quite a few sets that I still need at 10% off.

That list has to be a joke!!!
Come on UK gets way better deals and we get this?
WTF!!!! Lego
In what planet this is a good way to celebrate SW.

Yeah let me get a keychain.....
Oh no wait! a watch is way better
or maybe a magnet... so difficult to decide

I really hope this is a bad joke....

I wasn't expecting much. The May 4th deals are always about the exclusive minifig, the sales are just a little extra bonus and not the main draw.

Not much for me on that list. I'm not a big EU/ToR fan so the Revan figure doesn't interest me and the only currently available Star Wars set I really want is the sandcrawler...but I can be patient until a 2X or 3X vip point deal.

Is the Darth Revan figure available for $4.99 in store? I'm confused. Must you spend $75 to get him?

4.99? No, not sure where you heard that. The revan figure is an exclusive with the 75$ min star wars purchase.

On the Lego site they had a page with him for $4.99, no option to add him although now the sale should be live so I'm going to check again.

It's the same way that exclusive figures always work..not only for May 4th deals, but for about all the exclusive figure promos. You get them included with a min purchase. They have never sold them separately from what I have seen.

Lmao. I guess if you want the Malevolence this is a great deal for you. Good for anyone in Canada that wanted that set but missed out on the Target clearance for it.

Wasn't expecting to buy anything since I don't care for any clone wars stuff nor am I a big Star Wars fan so meh. Glad to be saving money after getting the Simpsons Minifigures.

I was considering this too, but probably not going to bite--good thing, too--it is already listed as sold out at about 12:03am May 3rd... Wow, what a sale...

I guess the list was not a joke.
I feel that Lego treated me so much different than the UK fans.
Almost discriminatory....they threw the bones at us while others got the big dinner.
What a shame

Darth Ravan is not showing up in my bag, despite a message saying "Congratulations! The Darth Revan™ Minifigure has been added to your bag" appearing above my cart. Anybody else having this issue, and is the minifigure showing up in your order after it's completed? The poster is showing up fine.

yes it's showing up for me. . .

So is Revan going to remain at $20+ aftermarket prices you think? Or drop down to the $15 range?

Because that will affect my decision whether or not to buy something off S&H, or just buy the set on Amazon for 20% off and buy Revan on ebay separately.

Desert Skiff and Malevolence are both sold out.
Quagsire - I had a similar issue when I ordered items to get the Martian Manhunter minifigure. It straightened itself out by the next morning. If not, give them a call. I am sure they'd fix it.
And don't forget, a purchase of $75 or more gives you free shipping.
