LEGO Friends Heartlake High Pictures 41005

Post by Toys N Bricks » Thu Apr 11, 2013 1:51 pm

Grogall has posted images for the upcoming Summer 2013 LEGO Friends 41005 Heartlake High School set over at Eurobricks. The set will come with three minifigures including a LEGO Friends style basketball hoop. This looks like a pretty neat set doesn't it?

It looks a bit small but the colors are nice. Any idea what the price point will be?

I agree. I wish they would have made it bigger. Should be proportinonally bigger than Olivia's House. According to brickset, it will be $50 US.

Looks like there are studs on the roofs of the first floor classroom and bathroom which are suitable for attaching additional rooms or roofs modular style. Same with the bricks with technic holes on the sides of the upper classroom. I'd guess each room is a separate piece that can be stacked in different configurations, which would hopefully make it easier to expand the school by buying multiples.

I'm really looking forward to this set. Lego city has been in dire need of a school.

I find it funny how many of the Friends sets come with bathrooms... That must have been one of the most frequent comments in the focus groups on "how girls play" - "How do they go to the bathroom?"

Yes, these sets have bathrooms for the same reason the Horizon Express has a bathroom.

If you want a bigger school, you could buy multiple and stack them together without having to be too creative. It looks built to work that way more than any other set.

Except for "Olivia's House". And "Summer Riding Camp". Basically all the big Friends sets are built this way. It's actually a great way to design them and I wish they would use this paradigm on more than just Friends. A CITY office or apartment building in this same vein would be a great idea.
