[TRU] BOGO 50% 2/17 - 2/23
The ad I have claims that it is all Lego excluding Technic, Chima & TMNT. Reminder: BOGO 50% = 25% off overall if you buy identically-priced items.
As we all know so well, that's not all they exclude, because for some reason it's ok for TRU to lie in their advertisements.
Anyway, good luck if you're shooting for a modular or death star.

In the past I thought there were a couple of instances where sales overlap for a brief period. Anyone think it might happen this time?

Re: [TRU] BOGO 50% 2/17 - 2/23
The overlaps I've been able to take advantage of on-line take place between mid-night on Saturday and 2am on Sunday. Not every deal stacks in this way, but often the BOGO's do.intromission wrote:In the past I thought there were a couple of instances where sales overlap for a brief period. update: to clarify, occasionally the 'weekly deals' stack at mid-night on Saturday. The BOGO50 for next week and the SW weekend sale probably wont stack.

So bogo and 15 off 75 then?
Re: [TRU] BOGO 50% 2/17 - 2/23

yes.
Maybe. But the 15 of 75 is in store only, isn't it?intromission wrote: So bogo and 15 off 75 then?
My expectation is that their current 'sale', which brings most of the prices down to MSRP will stay active for the first few hours ('til mid-night west coast time), while the BOGO50 will be active at mid-night east coast time. Sometime Sunday morning, the 'sale' prices will probably disappear and only the BOGO50 will be active.
The weekend star wars deal may stack, but I'm not counting on it.

If the president's day sale stacks, you could get two Palpatines for Under $60 each.
This would also be a good time to pick up a couple of 6857.
Does anybody know how likely this will work on the death Star or modulars?

Very unlikely..though during one sale last year it worked for a half day or so until they removed DS etc from the sale.c4dreams wrote: Does anybody know how likely this will work on the death Star or modulars?

And then there was that other sale in Nov where Diagon Alley and 10212 were excluded for a few days, then included, then excluded again...

Unless Toys R Us Jacks there prices way up for the sale, the 2 items to get are The Lord Of The Rings Battle Helm's Way about $105 each, and the Vampires Castle about $87.00 Each. Thats if they keep the $129.99 for the Helm's and $109 for the Castle, and your state taxes vary. "Remember these 2 sets are retiring in June.

Cmon man, you called it helms way in one of your other posts too..the one where you showed that you had 20 boxes of them and only room left for the fan to spin hah. You should know it's not called helms way by now. You were called out on it then. How is someone with so many sets so out of touch with what they actually are?emazers wrote:Unless Toys R Us Jacks there prices way up for the sale, the 2 items to get are The Lord Of The Rings Battle Helm's Way about $105 each, and the Vampires Castle about $87.00 Each. Have you ever built one?

the bogo banner was showing and it said it also excluded hard to find items as well.

not live yet, so I'm having doubts the sales will overlap.
I noticed that the 'unexpected gathering' set, 79003, is $3 less than MSRP, w/o this weeks sale. Hopefully it stays in stock once the BOGO50 sale starts.

Modulars are listed under the 'hard to find' banner, as well as the VW Van and Tower Bridge.prozac wrote:the bogo banner was showing and it said it also excluded hard to find items as well.

That's what I'm hoping to get too. Though I saw the b1g150% banner and clicked on it and nothing is listing as that in the cart...SpaceViking wrote:not live yet, so I'm having doubts the sales will overlap.

I was looking at 79003 too. Just checked amazon and they have it at 66.99 also. the question is when will the bogo50 start and if all prices will remain the same.
