[Review] 76004 Spider-Man: Spider-Cycle Chase

Post by DarthPaka » Sun Jan 06, 2013 11:11 pm

Chase Venom down on land or in the skies with Spider-Man's super Spider-Cycle!
Venom has taken control of Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. flying car and is making a super-fast getaway. Send Spider-Man to the rescue in his cool Spider-Cycle! Help Spider-Man™ catch this venomous villain and return the car to the good guys! Watch out for Venom's vicious symbiont web attack! Use the folding wheels on both vehicles for the perfect high-speed pursuit in the air or on land. Includes 3 minifigures: Spider-Man, Venom, and Nick Fury with weapon.

Ive always regretted not getting any of the original LEGO Spidey sets, and when I saw this set was coming out, I knew it was a must have! On with the review!

$24.99 CANADIAN at Walmart, not great piece count value (237 pieces) but fun build, cool vehicles and 3 very awesome minifigs!!

4.5/5 Overall Thanks for reading my review

I'd recommend giving a close up shot of the back piece on Venom. Two very cool new pieces as far as I know. I picked this up at Walmart and was surprised it was only $20. Good piece count for the US side and the minifigures are spot on, playability is high and the car looks good.

I'd definitely recommend it.

Amazing set. For $20, you get Venom with tentacles, 2 transforming good looking vehicles, and a coveted nitch character Nick Fury. I mean, I didn't buy much of this series mostly because of priorities to LOTR/Module. But I will pick up this sweet set.

Compare this to the TMNT Shredder's Dragon Bike for $25. That set looks even worse than before comparing to this. (I did buy that set only for that version of Donatello ... a $25 Donatello.)

I can't wait to do Bane's Tumbler vs Fury's Flying Car. Lego needs to make more mutants!

Ya man she went quick, as an avid Comic collector I am loving the minifigs in the Superhero lines!

As requested, better quality pics of the minifigs
