2013 Galaxy Squad, Creator, Hobbit at Toys R Us!
Brickset Forum member CupIsHalfEmpty has found the new 2013 Galaxy Squad, Hobbit, Creator and Technic sets at TRU Canada.
I'm surprised that Canada is the first to get a new theme/sets in.

I also found the TRU exclusive Barrel Escape at the same TRU, I think this is the first one found for sale. I had to pass on 334 pieces for $55, but I will be picking up all these sets eventually.

Don't forget the Technic set you found!
Re: 2013 Galaxy Squad, Creator, Hobbit at Target!
Bear in mind, these are Canadian prices, and on top of that, TRU prices. They're supposedly $10 and $70 in The States. At 86 and 711 pieces, respectively, I could see them bumping up to $12 and $80, possibly - the $10/$70 prices were actually in Euros. Here's hoping it's only $80 of your (and my) budget!UnknownUser wrote:There goes at least $150 of my budget...

I hate to say this, but they also had 31004 Fierce Flyer beside that yellow cement truck that I forgot to take a picture of.

Thanks for the picture posts. I think I like the new Galaxy Squad sets, have to check them out closer to make up my mind though.

The yellow cement truck is a must get for me. I missed out on the blue one from back in 2007. I assume this thing is going to be $25 in Canada.
I'm liking the 2013 city stuff. Yes, it's the fire stuff as usual but it's more appealing to me than stuff in the last 2 years or so.

Sweet! Thanks! Do you recall what the price was on this set?

That flaming dumpster cracks me up. I need to get one of those.
That set with Chase above looks just like 3648.

Saw new city, creator and hobbit sets at local TRU today.

Re: 2013 Galaxy Squad, Creator, Hobbit at Toys R Us!
Has anyone found the GS sets at US TRUs yet? It seems odd that they're excluding product (from their BOGO 50) that isn't even on their website or their stores...
Re: 2013 Galaxy Squad, Creator, Hobbit at Toys R Us!
The Lego store near me (in Texas) told me that the Galaxy Squad sets will be in the Lego store this Friday (November 30). Maybe Toysrus will be releasing them later this week...seems to be that by this time last year, TRU had a whole lot more "unauthorized" early releases in their stores and online. Maybe LEGO is finally beating TRU to the punch after all :)

The TRU at Markville Shopping Center in Markham, ON, has all the Hobbit sets, as well as a few of those smaller Creator sets pictured above, and the Galaxy Squad Bug Obliterator set.
They also had the 10656 My First LEGO Princess set, and 10661 My First LEGO Fire Station set. Both are very cool sets for youngsters, and feature some good parts for such small sets. Interestingly enough, the My First LEGO Princess set kind of looks like what a Friends set would look like if it had minifigs instead of minidolls!
