Target $5 Off Star Wars Toy Coupon

Post by MunsonRoyE » Wed Feb 15, 2012 1:41 pm

On Target's website there is a coupon for $5 off any Star Wars toy priced $19.99 and up. Doesn't say it excludes Lego, so hopefully it will work!

Thanks. I don't think it's a unique code. Does anyone else's code start with 9856 and end with 46?

Mine is the same. Please post whether or not this works on Lego please. I'm looking to score the droid escape. I wonder if it works on just one item or several star wars items combined, otherwise I might go for some battlepacks.

Mine does. In fact, I doubt I'll use my coupon, so here's the full serial number on it. Let's see if it's the same for everyone:

Can I just scribble "star wars" on a box with a felt marker and try to buy it with the coupon?

If this coupon does work, a good set would be the Droid Escape. Makes the set more reasonable.

My coupon was the same number as well. Droid Escape is an excellent suggestion! I've had my eye on it and was waiting for a bit of a discount, just like this :)

Is there an expiration date for this coupon? I'm hoping for a discount so I can use the coupon.

Can someone post a screenshot of the coupon so I don't have to install their BS Spyware coupon printing software?

Coupon worked for my Droid Escape too! When it initially scanned it brought up a message along the lines of "valid item not found" but the cashier immediately overrode it without a blink.

Has anyone tested this on a total Star Wars purchase as opposed to a single item purchase?

while you are there, you might want to pick up the V-wing for $15. It's not on sale. It's been at that price for a few months now.

I agree with PTSandman and think it's ridiculous to have to install an ActiveX control/add-on just to print a coupon. Would someone be willing to post the image or PDF of the coupon?

It's not even that it's a browser add on, it's a full EXE that has to be downloaded and ran. Guarantee it leaves traces on your system even when you uninstall it.

I work in IT, and these coupon programs are some of the nastiest stuff out there. Everyone's mothers and grandmothers install 30 of these things then wonder why their computers run funny.

The bugger has some smarts too. I just tried printing to a PDF print driver and got this:

"Unfortunately, you’re trying to print to a device that is not valid for printing coupons. If you have a multi-function printer (fax, copy, print), please make sure that “Printer” is set as the default function on your computer.

Your current default printer is: CutePDF Writer"

Might need to scan it.

Open it up, hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard.
Open paint, paste, save as image. PNG or Bitmap to keep the words from being blurry.

You can also crop out the unnecessary part of the image like your desktop, etc.
