Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
Just went I got the nerve to place another order they are officially sold out. No news on a new shipment. I think a large portion of us are never going to complete our series 1 figures

Wow. Maybe they will put this on backorder soon? Or will it be like UK where it will remain sold out?
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
Since series 2 will be out shortly, I suspect they will not go on backorder.legogeek wrote:Wow. Maybe they will put this on backorder soon? Or will it be like UK where it will remain sold out?
Need to search out stores, if you can.
The only store I found them in was Borders.

I am sooo close to a full set -- I just need Skater, Wrestler, Zombie, Ninja and Hunter! Can anyone help?
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
Depending on how much you are willing to pay for them, amazon and toywiz have them available for a premium of course.

I can already see the prices of these figures soaring in the next few weeks and months to come :(
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
They're JUST got released and stores are starting to carry them. For stores such as toysrus that hasn't got them yet, check them frequently. Once they are instock, they'll be gone very soon and they won't restock.
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
I have some arriving from Lego today. Hopefully, no repeats and I get the 5 I need!
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
I read on other sites once legoshop removed the limit 5 per customer policy for the figures, they got sold out quick. Did anyone else heard of this?

^I contacted LEGO about the 5 minifig limit when these first came out and they told me the limit would eventually be removed.
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
Lego always has limit 5 per customer for new sets. Usually and I mean usually they remove their limit when the sets are no longer "new". Luke's Landspeeder released half a year ago still has its limit 5 per customer. I'm quite suprise they remove their limit so early on these figures. They should never have done that, some people trying to make big bucks probably order a whole bunch the instance they removed the limit.Brickbuilder0937 wrote:^I contacted LEGO about the 5 minifig limit when these first came out and they told me the limit would eventually be removed.
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
I'm for a 16-bag limit. They sell more, we can buy more. It's fair. And you still can't complete the series with 16 bags.
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
Lego shoulda offer an option to buy a complete collection with all 16 minifigures for $32 US and $48 CA. Then people do not need use barcodes and buy more than they actually need to complete their collection.
Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
Yes, but barcodes aside, that would mean each person would only pay them for 16 figures when the whole theory behind blind-bagged/boxed merch is to cause people to buy more than they want in order to eliminate dupes. The barcode, of course, kind of undermined that idea.SpaceLego wrote:Lego shoulda offer an option to buy a complete collection with all 16 minifigures for $32 US and $48 CA. Re: Collectable Minifigures Sold Out LEGO.com
I suppose it doesn't really matter now since they're all gone. I have very little hope of completing my entire collection now. I've got 7 out of the 16 and I'm missing quite a few good ones :(
The only item of hope is that LEGO learned their lesson and will make BILLIONS of these figures for series 2. None of this 'oh the stores got 1 box in BAM they're gone!' kind of stuff. I never found them in stores anywhere. The best I got was an empty box at Toys R Us.

lego.com says call to check product availability.
I called, lady said still sold out.
She did say that all major retailers would get one last shipment.
Make of that with you will.

Prices are soaring up really fast at bricklink. Most of them are already above retail around $3. The zombie is $4.

Yep. I will probably buy the ones I need on Brinklink unless someone wants to trade my my extra Robot, Cheerleader, Clown or Magician?Transformers2 wrote:Prices are soaring up really fast at bricklink. Most of them are already above retail around $3. The zombie is $4.
