Was getting groceries at Wal-Mart and I saw they had several boxes of the lego collectable minifigures. I think they were somewhere in the $3 range. Much higher than in the states :?

I found them at $2.86 there :D . I bet retail is $2.99 but wally world sells them a bit cheaper.

We’ve received reports that ToysRUs Canada Instores now has the LEGO 8683 Collectable Minifigures for $2.99 each. Keep in mind that not all stores have these instock yet. But we recommend you to keep checking as they will sell like hotcakes with this high demand. Thanks to ZO6 for the news.

The Toys R Us in Barrie Ontario has them. I've also checked the Zellers and both Walmarts, but they didn't have them yet. TRU was selling them for $2.99.

I'll be in Canada in early July for a week. I look forward to searching for any minifigs I'm missing up North!

Mastermind.com has them instock. But they are limiting only 6 per customers at $2.99.

The ToysRUs in Metrotown BC had 1 minifigure left. I can still see the sale signs for the minifigures but even the boxes were gone. Judging from the space they were placed, I assume they only had 2 boxes. FYI, the figures were placed near the cashier in a small LEGO shelve with other small LEGO sets (not in regular LEGO aisle). But they did have 2 of the discontinued 7675 AT-TE sets.

TRU in Barrie had 3 boxes in yesterday. I was finally able to get my daughter the cheerleader and nurse. Considering how fast they went last time, I wasn't willing to chance it. I'm going back today to get the rest of my must haves, assuming they have any left. ;)

The ToysRUs in Surrey, BC has 2 full boxes. They just got their foma; shipment today and won't be getting anymore after this until August for Series 2. The boxes haven't been touched yet and are placed near the customer service desk. This may be your last chance to get them if your in the BC metro vancouver region. Its around 2 blocks walk from the Surrey Central Skytrain station.

All other ToysRUs including Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond are all sold out.
