[USA] K-Mart 50% Off Clearance

I cleaned out two K-Marts this morning.

All sorts of new sets that qualify for the 50% off clearance.
Found a bunch of these in the regular Lego aisle with regular sale tags.
The prices and stock varied a little.

8089 - Hoth Wampa Cave - $15 and $17
8095 - General Grievous' Starfighter - $21.00
7947 - Prison Tower Rescue - $18.50
8898 - Wreckage Road - $13.50 and $11.00
8897 - Jagged Jaws Reef - $9.00
7158 - Furno Bike - $11.00

There were also Toy Story and Atlantis sets

Also found Rebel Trooper Battle Packs for $5.00

I think K-Mart is closing a LOT of it's K-Mart stores and is consolidating (I expect to see the Sears 'brand' closed and all stores merged into the K-mart brand from what I've been reading in business columns). That is why you're see'ing LOTS of clearance at their stores. They are blanket-discounting in one store in my area, but still only at 20%...

My K-mart had all these sets but only "Wreckage Road" and "Jagged Jaws Reef" were on clearance :(

I found Hogwarts Express for $30. Hagrid's Hut was gone but the shelf shows it is on clearance, not sure how much.

This is what I saw at my Kmart in Mass. This is an "additional 50% off sale", but I can't remember how long it lasts. Prices below are after the additional 50%

4841 Hogwarts Express $30
8076 Atlantis Deep Sea Striker $8.50
7641 City Corner $21

Lots of Hero Factory, but I did not look closely at the prices.

The Hoth Wampa Cave was full price at this store
There was a tag for Prison Tower Rescue, but sadly none left.
Ther was a tag for Hagrid's Hut, but none left. I scanned all the other HP sets and nothing else was ringing up on sale.
I scanned a bunch of City sets that were older (airplane) and nothing came up on sale.

Sales were good in my area for general trefoils sw goth bps and city seaplanes. Thanks for the heads up!

The one Kmart in the area here had all these on clearance plus the older SW battle packs too, but no Prison Tower Rescue. :( Also Lotso's dumptruck for $7. I saw a few SP Smash n Grabs but they were full price.

I hit 3 K-Marts in my area 2 of the 3 had nothing, even the Hoth Wampa cave, Star Wars Battle Packs and Prison Tower rescue were at full price. The third K-mart I did score on though, picked up 4 Prison Tower rescues, other than that no sign of Hogwart's Express r the Burrow's, which is what I was hoping for...

The K-Marts I visited were all in SE Wisconsin.

If you are coming from the North - I think the Marysville and Everett stores are better than the one that is closer to Seattle.

Since I heard about the deal here I figured I would post my results of my quick shopping trip.

Tampa / Land O' Lakes Fl K-Mart on 54 and Collier Parkway had the following clearance sets:

7789-1 - Lotso's Dump Truck $7.50 (I bought 2 - think there were 3 left)
7596-1 - Army Men on patrol $5.00 (All gone now I bought all 4)
7597-1 - Western Train Chase $30.00 (I bought the last 1)
8089-1 - Hoth Wampa Cave $17.00 (I bought 2, I think there were 3 left)

Overall not a bad trip spent $100 for sets that retail at about $200 and who knows what they will sell for ont the open market :)

There were stickers for Snow Trooper Battle packs on sale but no inventory, also saw the sticker for wreckage road but no inventory as well.

They had 3 or 4 Prison Tower Rescues but not marked on clearance and scanned at the Price checker at $49.00 a piece :(

They also had 5 or 6 Hoth Rebel Battle Packs but they also were not marked clearance and rang up via the price checker @ $11.00 each.

Today I scored the following:

Buzz and Woody's Rescue for $9
Buzz's Star Command Ship for $11
Lotso's Dump Truck for $7.50

All of the Star Wars and City sets were marked at full price. Portland, OR area.

Checked both of my local K-Marts. Everything was MSRP except for a few stray Hero Factory and Toy Story sets. There were a couple of full price Prison Tower Rescues taunting me at both locations :(

There were HP hogwarts express for $35 after markdown in NE Ohio Prison Tower Rescue was full price here
