I tried a demo for it and while it was fun it was nothing I would really commit too.

I got a copy of the game with the Spring catalog (live in Austin, Texas) and I am also a VIP member. So it looks like it's going to all VIP members now.

Yeah I didn't get one either. I'm trying to think of why this would be.

Maybe you had to have made a purchase from the online LEGO store recently?

Thanks for the update! I was starting to worry mine got lost in the mail, although I'm disheartened to hear you didn't receive the disk.

I'm not holding out hope that I receive the catalog at all, much less with the free LU disc, so I called the Palisades Center LEGO Store to see if they were offering any freebies with the purchase. They are out of the rocket, but still have the Nexus Astronaut and are throwing it in with the purchase of the game, so I'm on my way over there in a few hours.

I got a free copy with my catalog but my computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements, if one of you want it I'll gladly send it to you.

Thanks, but truth be told, I'm in it more for the Nexus Astronaut than I am for the game ;) - so I got them yesterday. I then figured out, after I had foolishly unwrapped the game, that I could then return the game if I got one included with my catalog

Oh, well...

So, I've been playing for a few days now - anyone else on TnB playing? I've not gotten very far, not yet joined a faction, but got to Avant Gardens in order to gain my faction badges. Having a hard time deciding what faction to join first, though I've heard that Assembly is by far the most powerful, abilities-wise. I like the idea of the Venture League, but while the figurehead 'Hael Storm' is labeled a 'Space Pirate', they're a bit too heavy on the 'pirate' and not enough 'space' for my taste.

That said, I guess you have the ability to create four different characters in order to play as each faction, so I needn't really worry about what I start with, I can always bring up another character.

I'm not going to upgrade to a paid subscription any time soon, just don't have the time.

In my F2P character, I have a lot of "maelstrom infected bricks" - I have one slot in my backpack that has 100 of them, and now whenever I pick up any more it tries to take up another slot in my backpack. I'm running out of space and want to know if there is anything I can actually do with these in F2P or if I should just continually trash them to free up that slot. I know you can trade them in on Nimbus Station, but in F2P you can't get there.

Is there somewhere in Avant Gardens where I can unload these in exchange for something more useful, or should I just dump them in the trash? I think you should be able to hand them over to Wisp Lee, at least - or maybe Hu Where - they're both Paradox faction characters that are in Avant Gardens.

I bought 1 single month subscription to check it out. It was just the diversion I wanted but I will not be continuing, I'd rather put dollars into seeking sets and pieces.

Maelstom bricks can be converted to faction tokens in other sectors of the universe, nothing in Avant Gardens.

If anyone is a regular player and would like some of my loot later, contact me, my time expires by the 22nd.

I bought a six month subscription for my son last year. It looks like it automatically renews every six months unless you cancel. I have a Lego Universe charge suddenly appeared on my credit card bill last month.

I don't have much interest in playing online games but my wife seems to be playing it more than my son.
