It looks like, they don't require a Borders Rewards Plus membership for this 40% off coupon.
Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
Thanks for posting this. I got the Creator Log Cabin for $18.89 plus tax. I have the Plus membership. It was $34.99, less the 40% then less the 10%. So about 37% off MSRP for me :)gabriellee11 wrote:40% off - http://www.bordersmedia.com/coup/201102 ... A_20110211, exp 02/14

Hello.
Wanting to use the Borders Coupon. Stated it can be used online, but do not see any lego sets online at Borders.
Anyone notice this?

Welcome cptjacleggow! Your absolutely correct, online Border's does not carry sets. You can find quite a few LEGO related books to purchase online. I would suggest calling your local Border's and asking if they carry LEGO. Not all Border's do and of course the selection varies store to store.

Sets are in-store exclusives, with the exception of the SW Visual Dictionary (comes with a minifigs), the Brickmaster collections (assorted bricks and minifig) and Crazy Action Contraptions (assorted technic bricks).cptjacleggow wrote:Wanting to use the Borders Coupon. I noticed I have $5 borders bucks and they have a coupon good through Thursday 3/3 (borrowing GuaranteedUnity's formating)

on-line code: BNF2692L (for books as they don't have Lego on-line)
coupon states it is NOT GOOD AT CLOSING STORES

Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
I noticed that my Borders had the full line of Harry Potter Stuff. Hogwarts was like 150(irc) but if you are a 40% off that is 90 dollars which is less than the sale people are talking about at Amazon. Hagrid's Hut was also only marked up to 44.99 so like 27.50.
Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
I looked around Borders today and noticed the HP Castle at $150. They also had a number of the other HP sets (I didn't see The Burrow, but the others were there). This was the first time I saw it there. It seems like good news that they are getting more sets in-stock.eriochrome wrote:I noticed that my Borders had the full line of Harry Potter Stuff. Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
Saw the full line of HP at a store in Rochester, NY (excluding Diagon Alley). I agree that this is a good sign that they continue to get new sets in. I also saw the new Space Shuttle set there as well. It's priced at $40! 33% above MSRP. That's a bigger markup than the Creator Log Cabin (marked up to $35) although they have the same MSRP. I hope that even bigger markups are not their new trend.atmail35 wrote:I looked around Borders today and noticed the HP Castle at $150. Hogwarts for 81 plus tax that really is better than the Amazon and you are paying the use tax that you are supposed to be paying on your tax returns for online purchases.
Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
Someone tell me we don't need this set..my 5 year old doesn't even know who Harry Porter is. I'm ashamed to say I haven't read any of the books and only saw the first 2 movies...the buildings look cool and I love the owls, BUT I should not buy this right?

Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
Ofcourse you do not need the set. I have read all the books and seen all the movies but the Harry Potter sets do not have the same draw to me as the Star Wars but it makes good sense for Borders to stock that range in full compared to only a sampling of the others. Wish my store stocked a Wampa Cave. I would buy that at 46% off their expected price of 44.99.

Bounty Hunter Gunship would only be like 34.02 with the coupon and membership which is 3 dollars lower than the TRU sale this weekend.
Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
I went into Borders today at 9am in the Arizona Superstion Springs branch and pick up the Lego 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle for $43 with tax included. Pretty good deal with the coupon 46% off and got some nice new Jedi minifigs (Shaak Ti and Saesee Tiin). I might go back again to to get the Ninjago Dojo set.
