30080 must be my favorite, simply because of 6 pearl gold swords!

The temple opens up with a switch. Very odd, but very neat!

Mountain shrine and the earth dragon, clear winners in cool sets.

I'd add the Fire Temple to that list just because of the dragon. Who am I kidding?!? I'd buy the entire line if it came out tomorrow. :)legitimatealex wrote:Mountain shrine and the earth dragon, clear winners in cool sets.

Also, one thing I find interesting in this line is the use of tan skeletons as practice dummies.

Oh I really like the fire temple too, but I'll never be able to afford it.

The temple is very nice, but it's not $120 nice.
I really like the pieces in 2254 Mountain Shrine. I think that's a $20 set and it looks really nice.

That better not be a $20 set. I'll stick it at the $15 mark, matching it with the Skull Motorchopper or w/e it is from this line.Brick & Blue wrote:The temple is very nice, but it's not $120 nice.

I just noticed that they brought out a new Lego Zane DX Spinner on lego.com. So does that mean that the regular Zane Spinner is a rare find?? The non-dx version?

Re: 2011 LEGO NinjaGo (Summer)
It's a $20 set, that's the price from Toy Fair NYC. Lego isn't doing $15 sets anymore, everything is bumped to $20. The PQ bi-plane should be $15, the NASA rocket van is $20 and should really be $15. LEGO will rip you off until you stop paying.legitimatealex wrote:That better not be a $20 set. Re: 2011 LEGO NinjaGo (Summer)
Just bought the fire dragon polybag set, the one with the red ninja. Pretty nifty although I wouldn't really recommend it. Not really the coolest build or the most useful pieces.

Ya, but those colored pieces are hard to find. Also for $3.50 USD, you can easily build yourself a nice Ninja army.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.
