WOW! that is true determination. I've already picked up these sets during the 50% off after xmas. The only reason I would want another is because of the bigger discount.
That is determination. I couldn't imagine visiting more than one LEGO store in a week. Of course, there's only one in the state, but that's not the point.

I didn't know stores can ship. Do all stores do that? Is shipping cost based on the same shipping table that legoshop.com use?
According to a person I spoke with in Lego customer service a few months back, there are only 3 stores that won't ship. She didn't identify which ones. The only store I've had an issue with is in Cincinnati - they wouldn't ship, but each other outlet I've ever called would do so. Shipping rates are comparable with S@H but not the same - a couple of sets I ordered from Miami yesterday cost $7 to ship.

Will they ship to other Lego stores for pickup? Say the store in Orlando has an item, and your live near the store in New York, will they send it the New York Store for you to pick up, or is only shipping to your home? And if they do ship to the store, is shipping the same, higher or lower? Just curious as they are opening a Lego store in Toronto area this spring.

Well, it turns out that Lego Stores do ship. Now if only the Rockefeller store would answer the phone!

Edit: Rockefeller is out of Home One and Venator.

Not sure if I missed this in the replies, but will a lego store ship to another country? Or just within country? I'm mostly just interested in ordering from the US Lego stores and getting them shipped here.

Stopped by the Columbus, Ohio Lego store on Tuesday and they had the following sales items:

4011 Thanksgiving Turkey - $2-3
7570 POP Ostrich Race - $5.98
852843 C-3PO, Princess Leia and Admiral Ackbar Magnet Set - $4.48
852777 Atlantis Magnet Set - $?
853036 LEGO Holiday Stocking - $?
Also an abundance of key chains - $1.48

Sorry I couldn't remember the prices on everything. Also I may be forgetting a few smaller items (another magnet set and some Duplo).

If anyone can tell me of a Lego store that still has the Venator or Home One in stock I'd appreciate it. I gave up calling today.

Just called the store and they stated they are currently out of stock. Called the Northbrook store also and they said they ran out of Home One's earlier today.

If anyone see's a Taj Mahal, Green Grocer, or Grand Carousel in a Lego store (or for that matter a Target/Walmart/TRU), please let me know. I'll shoot you a finders fee if i can snag it.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Do you happen to know the Phone # for the Miami store? Possibly on a reciept? I looked on the Lego website and couldn't find it.

LEGO store at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN, had a bunch of Winter Village Bakery sets on sale for 30% off, as of this morning. Didn't see any other sale items though.

I picked up a Winter Bakery on sale at the Lego Store today. We already have that set but I was thinking it might be useful in making a different building as part of our winter scene.
