Don't waste money on the battle pack cards. They charge you $3.50 and you only get a single card!! Crazy... Fortunately they let me return it after it was opened. Major rip-off!!

So after seeing the show... i'm kinda curious.. is lego going to rip us on unique gold weapons and just give us a gold katana and other ones and say they are the unique golden weapons. That means that Kai's booster pack that comes with the gold sword is the true gold sword. Kinda sux, would loved to have had a unique look'n gold weapon like on the cartoon. Ah well.

Is the battle arena a target exclusive?

If I'm not mistaken, the sword you're talking about will appear in the second wave, as shown here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pierre_import/5262075056/.

The earth one is awesome (I prefer it over the "classic" dragon look). Maybe we can make a rock king. Without a head. And a fire king. Etc...

Don’t forget the premier of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu is this Friday, 1/14 on Cartoon Network.
6:00pm EST - Episode 1: LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu - Way of the Ninja
6:30pm EST - Episode 2: LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu - King of Shadows

Looks like I will be setting the DVR for my boys. As they will want to watch it again and again.
would it be posable for you to recorde it and put it on youtube for those who can't see it on tv? (if it is legal)
If I knew how to get it off my DVR I would, but when I save stuff to my hard drive from my DVR it is DISH Network's weird format.

Ditto, I kinda wonder if they'll give any of the other weapons new molds, but the one that matters the most is getting a new mold. Wicked.

Well the shuriken is a new mold, as is the scythe-connector piece. I hear the katana are as well.

That's true, I guess when I was saying "new mold" I kept thinking about the dragon head nunchucks. I forgot that the throwing stars/shurikens were pretty much new. :D

The scythe is epic. I liked the old one, but I thought the blade was too long in proportion to the handle (or on a longer handle too big for the figure)

The old scythe looks more like a sword on the end of a stick. Or Sorta like Testament's Scythe from the game Guilty Gear X
