I think you may be right. Too many important characters seem to be left out.BobaFett2 wrote:I think those are custom Minifigures.

A teaser picture from a retailer catalog found on brickshelf.
Re: 2011 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean
Flickr user smartwii has a pic of the retailers catalog that has an image of a blanked out box, with the wording "4184 Black Pearl" beneath it so it looks like we're getting the Pearl after all, but we won't see it until November 2011.

Same sentiments from me. Since it is licensed they're going to have to come up with new pieces too! Pirates has been begging for new pieces for quite a while now.Shijima wrote:Ive only seen the first two movies, and only vaguely remember the second but I am excited for more pirates period.

I'm not going to link the pictures that someone linked in the 2011 Kingdoms Thread that shows a confidential picture of all the 2011 sets since they're stamped with a confidential watermark, but the sets I did see looked pretty decent, especially the Cannibal escape.

A Modular Life has pictures from this site for the upcoming LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean sets. Don't forget that BN.com currently has these sets for pre-order and 10% off the retail price as well!

Re: 2011 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean
am i the only one who CANNOT see the cool hair that the prototype jack sparrow had?
to me, it looks like the jack sparrow minifig has no hair at all, just a pirate's cap.
if that is so, that is lame. i was psyched to get that new hair joint, and lego cheaped out.
look at the 10 buck box, the guy flipping thru the air has no hair at all.

I am not big fans of PoC, I am just familiar with the ship "Black Pearl". Has this ship show up at last 3 movie series?
Re: 2011 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean
that's not the black pearl. that's blackbeard's queen anne's revenge. you never read your history book? :D

I blame WikiLeaks.
Re: 2011 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean
The photos were in fact not allowed on the site-they were uploaded to Brickipedia and LEGO requested their removal.
