I just got an email that TRU has Buy One Get One 50% of ALL LEGO, and there are photos of Star Wars sets and others. The note says it only excludes Pharoahs Quest.

Nice, i'm watching the Lunar Eclipse and I don't know which is darker... TRU or the eclipse... They probably won't allow a BOGO on those series 3 minifigures.

it's nice to see more ppl sharing deals. :D thought i would throw this one out there too.

toysrus.com is having bogo 50% off and the winter toy shop is eligible. trusrp is $69.99 but still it comes to $52.49 ea if you buy 2. if you missed the LSH bf sale in nov, at this price it's still pretty good. you also have to consider that this set is probably due for clearance after christmas and won't be produced after this year. so you can either get it now or hope to get it cheaper after christmas.

edit: seems like the bogo 50% off deal is now live on tru.com! i thought only the winter toy shop missed the QC! get the online only sets now! like space shuttle!

I got news from Toysrus that almost all will start 24 hours opening from today until December 24. This first time Toysrus has decide more sales and customer can buy before or after work hours.

As far as I can tell, it's a regular sale, no coupons needed.

I was at TRU this morning early and tried to stock up on the City Traveller (7567) - $2.25, Atlantis Sea Jet (8072) - $2.25, and Atlantis Manta Warrior (8073) - $2.25. They all rang up at the discount price but not the BOGO. Made me very sad.

No problem getting our series 3 minifigs with the BOGO today. Great deal. We bought our first dozen during the last BOGO, took our sweet time figuring out what we had at home (we need a lot of time!), then brought back our unwanted figs (still in bag, of course) and exchanged for new -- worked great!

Do you think this will work with the Lego Games? I'm wanting Lego Minotaurus and Lego Race 3000.

well, you weren't paying attention to your receipt it seems. i was able to stack non-sale items with the sale items to get 50% off trusrp on all.

i got tons of jesters, wizards, pig farmers together with the tourist, mantamen and scubamen. the bogo offer takes precedence over the sale price, hence you can't stack them with similar sale items. but you can stake the bogo with non-sale items to score 50% on those instead. ;) you just need to make sure your cashier is willing to scan one at a time and in the right sequence.

you can also stack the on-sale racer sets with the sw bp sets or anything under $15. only problem here is if you buy anything cheaper than $14.99, you can only buy a pair at a time. otherwise the computer will apply the bogo on the lowest priced item pairs. e.g. if you try stacking the kingdom set $10.99 with the $7.49 racer set (original trusrp: $14.99), you can't do it more than once or the register will apply the bogo on the second racer, and the first kingdom set will be charged at trusrp, while the second kingdom set at 50% off.

I grabbed 8073 Manta Warrior and 7138 Rahshi at 50% off as part of TRUs regular sale this week.

I went down to TRU to pick up a couple Clone Battle Packs before they are all gone. When they ring up at the register - $16.99! The history of TRU pricing on this pack, as I know it:

MSRP: $11.99
TRU regular price: $12.99
TRU holiday price: $14.99
TRU holiday price when offering a sale: $15.99
TRU holiday sale price a few days before Christmas: $16.99

Luckily for me, there was no sign stating $16.99 when I asked the cashier to go check, so she gave gave them to me for $15 each - with the BOGO50% they ended up being $12 each after tax.

The funny thing is, there were only 4 of these sets left, so I suppose I can hardly blame TRU for playing with pricing.

Lego Semi is msrp 35$
TRU semi msrp was 40, then 50 when the big toy book hit, now is 55....total crap....

That is what happens when LEGO makes a set for a company they (LEGO) wont even sell, so TRU can charge whatever they want since no one can get it anywhere else.

The Lego Truck msrp is $35, the TRU truck cost a bit more with msrp $40 cause it has the little store. TRU was selling msrp $40 before the toy book. When the toy book came, it was selling for $50 but was "on sale" for $40.

I checked online just after midnight and there was no more BOGO. I'm guessing this is the case in stores too, so no BOGO Thurs or Fri. I had been debating the Space Police Jail and Slave I. Oh well, next sale sometime mid-year.
