OMG that punk rocker's hair and guitar are awesome! New gray color for the crazy spikey hair from the Agents line on the mad scientist!

Nope, the gnome. A surprising number of parts seem to have come from series 3, but that's still awesome! The tooth elements in pearl gold, the skates, the mohawk, the kimono dress and torso elements, the Doc Inferno hair in bley...awesome!

Enh. He should have a lantern instead of the fishing rod.

I really think CMFs3 should have had one of either the Wolfman or Frankenstein's Monster in exchange for the Cyborg or Alien, in order to even out each series a bit more... but either way, I like both of them more than CMFs2!

The Frankenstein is WAY better than the 2002 one! They seem to be revisiting TONS of themes with these...I HAVE to get a Mad Scientist and a Frankenstein. Maybe a Vampire sometime.

If you have a sharp eye like my brother you'll notice the werewolf has black elf hair.

Such great eyecandy... and I don't even have any series 3 figures yet! Thanks for posting the pics! My fiance will beg to differ tho on the thanks. She rolled her eyes when I said "Series 4 figures!"

Thanks for sharing the image kevin1990! First post updated.
Note that there are rumors circulating that the MSRP price will be higher than previous series.

alright guys...we have seen the goods. Now what is the verdict. They are charged with four counts of total awesomeness.

In addition, we should a contest. Where we guess the rarity of the figures. That would be pretty fun to speculate with (basing it on CMF 3 specs)

ie: 2 punk rockstars
3 musketeers, hazmat suits, hockey players, japanese kimono girls, etc
....
5 scientists, werewolf.

With a prize of 5 minifigures...or perhaps a complete set =D

Surprises (good):
Hazmat guy: This one looks really cool.
Kimono girl: Another very cool looking figure.
Punk: Love the hair
Mad scientist: Beaker and hair are both awesome.
Artist: pallet and paintbrush are a nice touch.
musketeer: good use of colors and accessories. rapier looks chrome to me?

Disappointments:
Gnome. Come on. Another fisherman but with shorter legs? really.....?
Skateboarder/Surfer. We already have one of each from series 1 and 2. Lets get some unique ones.
One with the trophy. Come on, lets stop repainting the mini-minifigure trophy. Not sure which one he is supposed to be. Pretty lame looking if you ask me.

Other:
The speed skater looks like Wilma from the Flintstones.

look forward to it.
Woo. I am surprised to see the images so early.

After viewing these images, I totally agree that this set is much much better than series 3. This series 4 does definitely heal the wound from series 3. All of the figures are so cool. All of them. What a "come back"!!!!!! It is like the lego team finally turn on the heat. I will vote this set to be the best among 4 different series, and series 2 is considered to be second.

I remember that I had mentioned the fisherman in CMF3 looked like a santa clause taking a summer break. Now it comes truth. This happens in Series 4.

Too bad that the jersey of the hockey player minifigure is not in canuck theme.

Another "similar" fisherman shows up in CMF4 is a little disappointment.

However, someone who creates MOC for beach would like to see more different surfers, and someone who creates MOC for x-game would like to see more skateboarders.

VERY NICE.
I really like the artist/painter and skateboarders helmet with the brick on it.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

IMO, It seems that this may be a sales strategy for CMF3. The lego marketing team revealed the CMF4 images as early as possible to impress the upset fans(due to CMF3) and psych them into some "collect them all" action.

In fact, I have already been psyched since CMF1. 8-) I am glad that I purchased a set of CMF1 from bricklink right before its mkt price has gone up.
