The Duel in the Air set looks very cool, plus the flying falcon warriors look very cool and menacing. Not to mention that the torso's look very much like the CMFs3 mummy torso's.Toys N Bricks wrote: LEGO 7307 Duel in the Air ($19.99 USD / $24.99 CAD)
LEGO 7326 Rise of the Sphinx ($49.99 USD / $64.99 CAD)
Looking forward to the Rise of the Sphinx as well. I am left amazed at even thinking that this is both a building and a moving Sphinx. WOW!

Does the girl who held the red dynamite from set "Cursed Cobra Statue" look like Lora Croft at Tomb Raider? It may be fun to put a better torso(in tight t-shirt) and legs(in short pant) for her and come up with a tomb raider MOC

Re: 2011 Pharaoh's Quest
Ooooo, maybe not such a bad idea. That would be something for LEGO to consider, seeing as how there is a huge Lara Croft fan base. Don't know how many of these fans are AFOL's, it's a good idea, and there are hundreds of different scenarios that could be made for Lara Croft.legohunter wrote:Does the girl who held the red dynamite from set "Cursed Cobra Statue" look like Lora Croft at Tomb Raider? Re: 2011 Pharaoh's Quest
You are completely right. They look darn near close to each other. Good comparison. I love this line. Tan is such an amazing color to work with but it seems to only come in desert themes. There are other uses for tan darn it!

My favorites are the sets that have "moving" statues in them.
By the way, you guys are totally right about Lara Croft! It does really look like her. :D

Re: 2011 Pharaoh's Quest
I have to say, I'm not liking the Price per Piece for these sets.
7305 Attack of the Scarab ($4.99 USD / 44 pcs.) = $0.11 per piece.
7306 Golden Staff Guardians ($9.99 USD / 70 pcs.) = $0.14 per piece.
7307 Duel in the Air ($19.99 USD / 125 pcs.) = $0.16 per piece.
7325 Cursed Cobra Statue ($29.99 USD / 213 pcs.) = $0.14 per piece.
7327 Pyramid of the Pharaoh ($99.99 USD / 792 pcs.)$0.13 per piece.

Re: 2011 Pharaoh's Quest
I think that this might not be the best line to judge on PPP. There seem to be a ton of printed tiles, as well as quite a few large pieces in each set. The larger the piece the more justified it might be to command a higher price.

Re: 2011 Pharaoh's Quest
There aren't a lot of printed parts-many of them are STICKERs. It's awful, in a way-in the larger sets, the sticker sheets are in bad condition. Aside from that, it would be nicer if they just pre-applied them-then you wouldn't have to go to the trouble of placing them-may annoy some though. Anyways-yes, it's a tad expensive-but there are tons of new molds, especially for the Minifigures-very well designed parts, a lot of imagination has gone into this theme. I got the Pyramid set, and it's AMAZING!legitimatealex wrote:I think that this might not be the best line to judge on PPP. Are you referring to the swords and shields? Personally, I prefer the pearl dark gray it looks more metallic.kevin1990 wrote:I got 7306 yesterday.

If you get ramses pyramid (the microfigures), the mummy from cf3, and the mummies from this, it could be an undead invasion.

If you take all the microfigures from Ramses' Pyramid you could make a very confusing undead invasion :)Everybody wrote:If you get ramses pyramid (the microfigures), the mummy from cf3, and the mummies from this, it could be an undead invasion.

This line is nice and cool but not cool enough to get it right the way. There is a need to reserve some budget for a set of CMF3 first and some 2010 sets. I will be waiting the sets on sale.
Re: 2011 Pharaoh's Quest
Yes, it's expensive, BUT! Considering both the new molds (tons of new parts), new colors for the parts, lots of designing (this theme is totally new and different from Adventurers), etc. Yes, it's expensive-but you get tons of great stuff. You're getting at least 3 figs in every set but the smallest, and figs are also quite expensive.legohunter wrote:Mantisking wrote:I have to say, I'm not liking the Price per Piece for these sets.

Re: 2011 Pharaoh's Quest
Interesting but not attractive. I like the box sets more, plus the box sets already include those mini-figs. I would save my ammo for the box sets.
