Lego top 25 - Where did the Star Wars go?

Post by sadowsk1 » Thu Jul 08, 2010 4:54 pm

I go to the Lego website frequently and as I imagine many people that come to this website do and it makes me wonder where all the Star Wars sets are going in the top 25. Star Wars used to dominate the top 25 and they are losing position fast. I wonder if the new sets are going to recharge Star Wars in Lego popularity or if the interest in Star Wars Lego is fading?

It's merely a lull - you'll see the new summer 2010 SW sets take over the "What's Hot Now" page as soon as they're released.

Star Wars is not as high as before because of all the new sets coming out. Some sets like luke's landspeeder continues to be a strong seller cause of the figs. When the excitement for the new summer sets dies down, star wars will dominate again.

I think it may also be related to the fact that the younger generation has nothing with the star wars franchise anymore. It's been quite some time since a movie came out in theater and tv doesn't show them all that often anymore.

Maybe the Clone Wars TV Series is not doing too well?

Your right, just checked this and only the death star plus freeco speeder is on there. Star Wars was never a cracy seller in the uk ;)

I'd wager now that the 2010 SW sets are available at shop.lego it's only a matter of time before they take over the "What's Hot Now". Also, Luke's Landspeeder has been on there consistently.

All the new star wars have been pushed back. Luke's landspeeder is higher than any of the new star wars. I guess all the people that wants it when it first comes out already has it.
