Re: Kreo Dungeons and Dragons Theme
I saw those. The dark elf seems to be the best one in my opinion. I'm a bit disappointed in some of them. I wonder what they are calling each one?
I feel like they should make more distinct characters but keep it simple for the first wave or 2, maybe something like this...
Human fighter/wizard/cleric/rogue
elf ranger/wizard,
dwarf fighter/cleric
halfling rogue
orc/goblin/troll etc...a few common monsters
Though on the other hand, because the picture that has been released is a copy of the RA Salvatore books cover 1000 Orcs with minifigs maybe they are going to making minifigs based on forgotten realms and the figures shown are supposed to represent characters from there? The dark elf is dual wielding scimitars...but some of the other figures I'm not sure who they are supposed to represent.
I feel like basing these on forgotten realms is a cool idea but once again I hope they make distinct figures. If it is just random medieval figures that could be in a variety of themes instead of D&D specific characters I will be passing...

Saw some pictures of these from New York Comic Con. I'll buy some, being a Dungeons & Dragons nerd going all the way back to the early 80's...

I saw a few more pictures and they aren't what I was hoping. I was hoping these might replace miniatures to be used in conjunction with a d&d campaign.

I could imagine Hasbro doing Kre-O My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic toys.
