Re: Lego Jewelry
Lego jewelry will not be succesful if its aimed at adults, maybe play jewelry for kids would be ok.

Bingo. Sterling silver LEGO rings that support the blocks...This is going to become a collector's item quite quickly because I can't see these selling.Alyvin wrote:Lego jewelry will not be succesful if its aimed at adults, maybe play jewelry for kids would be ok.

Re: Lego Jewelry
Interesting and is very different from what we've seen from lego.
Re: Lego Jewelry
That’s a very unique ring! It's beautiful but it's just like a kid's toy. I think that is good to give as a gift to kids because for me that is not suitable as adult rings. This is just my point of view; please don't take it as criticism.

Re: Lego Jewelry
I disagree. There are people who make aftermarket jewelry using Lego that seem to do fairly well. I know there are Lego cufflinks out there that I want.Alyvin wrote:Lego jewelry will not be succesful if its aimed at adults, maybe play jewelry for kids would be ok.

My sister in law makes lego earrings that are pretty popular.
Re: Lego Jewelry

Re: Lego Jewelry
I'd buy a few and see how many LEGO designs I could make off of rings and such. I'm imagining some sort of microscale tower.

Re: Lego Jewelry
Here's an old post on a blog I like about Lego jewelry.
Re: Lego Jewelry
Skepticism apart, I believe this is a great concept. Make your own jewelry is a dynamic and attractive model. I’ve always wanted my favorite pearl jewelry to be customized and would love to try out a few things with this Lego Jewelry. The only thing that I hope is, Lego comes out with some grown-up and jewelry like designs for those building blocks.

Re: Lego Jewelry
I think they are great, I got matching sets of cufflinks for my groomsmen in my wedding and rings to match for the bridesmaids. At the wedding so many people wanted to look at them and complimented them, it was a great touch as gifts for the wedding, partially because I'm insane for Lego too and most people at the wedding new it. I'm not sure what kinds Lego plans to make, but the customized artists that make personalized Lego jewelry do just fine and charge for the most part sensible prices.
