White Base Plates
White Base Plates
Has Lego ever made or sold a white baseplate for a snow or winter village? Just curious if anyone would know the item number if someone has ever come across such a product?
Re: White Base Plates
According to BL, these baseplates have been produced in white; just click the number under each, then on the next page click "white" in the right column to see what sets they're from.

^ I think that's the only one that's still being produced. It's a 16x16 plate. I plan on picking up a bunch for my winter village since the buildings are already built on plates.

Re: White Base Plates
I always wanted this Arctic set. It was $25 one day after school, but by the time my mom got home it was sold out.

I thankfully got this set for incredibly cheap...

And this is one of the most underrated sets ever, really great set, and no one wanted them, so a nice clearance find.

The good old days when a $30 set came with pieces and four mini figures.

I also got the second one for incredibly cheap in the clearance isle of a TRU....passing up the UCS X Wing that was next to it on sale for $90.00 because it looked like it was spilling pieces out.Brick & Blue wrote:I always wanted this Arctic set. But the last one...I bought a lot of Oriental expedition stuff on clearance, and there wasn't many of those around, and only found one Jungle river. Thought I wiped out a TRu of 10 Elephant Caravans when they marked them $3.00
Re: White Base Plates
I got all the Oriental Expidition sets from that year, and they are all gems, the big ones especially!! The Dragon Fortress and the Areo Nomad are probably my 2 favs!NIGELTTF wrote:But the last one...I bought a lot of Oriental expedition stuff on clearance, and there wasn't many of those around, and only found one Jungle river. 10 Elephants for $30!!! Holy Smokes, what a sweet deal!! Everybody got time for that!!
Re: White Base Plates
The Aero Nomad was also one that was a little in short supply. However, when Shop at Home had Dragon Fortress at half off, I think picked up six of them. Still have two in the box in my speculation pile. Once at a lego convention in 2009, as part of the Yankee gift exchange $20 to $30 dollars I put in a combo of Yeti's Hideout and Passage of Jun Chi and it didn't seem to elicit much excitement....and IMNSHO those were far better than that crappy racers 8166 set I got.DarthPaka wrote:NIGELTTF wrote:Brick & Blue wrote:
