Pick-a-Brick Online and DesignByMe parts updates

Post by Brickbuilder0937 » Fri Apr 09, 2010 5:54 am

The pick-a-brick at LEGOshop.com has been updated to include 73 new parts. There are no pictures for the new pieces yet but if you have the newest version of LEGO digital designer (with patch) you can see what they look like there, or you could just look up the design id on bricklink. Happy shopping.
P.S. don't forget to use code B311 at checkout to save $5

^ Yes, it is.
Most of the parts are much higher than BL prices, but a few pieces, like 1x3 tiles and other new pieces, are enough cheaper to make it worthwhile.

The first thing I found that struck me in the newest version of LDD was a 2x2 plate with one stud in the middle! Never saw that piece before.

The Classic Space logo jacket torso assembly has actually been on there for a while. Most of the new pieces are from the Atlantis sets.

The 'Space Visor' under that same list is from Atlantis...I wonder why they call it a space visor? I was on pick a brick yesterday and noticed this stuff but I hadn't been there for months. Didn't even know it was new!

To find that out you just have to go to the UK Lego site and view the pick a brick selection.

I wonder why they chose this theme to add special pieces to the program.
Makes me wonder if they have bigger things in store for Atlantis theme.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

If they do, I cannot wait. Atlantis is turning into one of my favorite LEGO originals. I suspect that they added more pieces because Atlantis has introduced quite a few to the standard line. Many of these pieces were out in other sets but Atlantis is using a whole slew of slightly rarer pieces as a regular standard in sets. I think that this is just an update to their design by me program and they felt it was pretty good to update it with a release of their new line.
