How long does it take exclusives to be available at stores

I really really wanted the grand emporium but its expensive. Ideas or tips or info on when exclusives at lego becomes available for sale in stores like toysrus and walmart?

I think typically 1-1.5 years. Also TRU has all the expensive hard to find items.

varies depending on the exclusive, i say 6 months to 2 years
