Strange Question
This may be an odd question...in fact, I'm sure it is:
What do you think is the best way to use legos? I mean it. Artistically, conceptually....the possibilities are endless, right?

Re: Strange Question
Whatever brings you the most joy.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Massive hoarding : P
But seriously however you want to use them. Building and displaying seems to be their ultimate purpose though, even if you're a small child. Who didn't play with LEGO as a child, build a terrible space ship made out of 2x4s in every different color and then run up to someone and show them it?

Are you saying that I can't make terrible space ships out of 2x4s anymore?...legitimatealex wrote:Massive hoarding : P

My 4 year old son will make a whole pile of "space ships" and line them up on the top of his toybox and proudly show me. Some are just random, but some are actually eye-opening to the possibilities of how things can work. Kids aren't stuck into thinking like adults.
I enjoy seeing lego best as a freshly poured out pile in the middle of the floor. Endless possibilities and hours of fun to come.
Re: Strange Question
I think the best use of LEGO is as a booby-trap - I sprinkle a generous portion of LEGO bricks at the front and back door of my house as well as the floor beneath each window every night before I go to bed just in case someone tries to break in. I've found 2x2 corner bricks to be the most effective, compared to other pieces there are more sharp angles and corners on them no matter which way they land.

Re: Strange Question
I like using LEGO for practical uses like this. I built a mount to attach my PlayStation eye to my tv instead of paying $10 or more for the actual mounting clip (that may or may not have fit my tv )dr_spock wrote:Good use of Lego? Easel stand for iPad

Re: Strange Question
How about architecturally? I broke our refrigerator growing up. I must have hit it too hard and the front leg broke. So now there's hundreds of pounds just leaning to crush someone. Ran upstairs and grabbed a small handful of Lego. Two 2x4s later-the fridge was back upright. Those 2 bricks ( a red and blue one) held our fridge up until we moved. They were a little squished-but it worked better than I thought.

Good sir please tell me that you do not have an iPad with a keyboard. If you do, it's just a laptop.
