Fully round? So, no studs or any other type of connection? Does it have a tiny printed "Lego" on it anywhere? The only spheres I'm finding in the online database are either half spheres or one of a couple types of true spheres (both of which are smooth).Mrbill317 wrote:No fully round , white , kinda like half a golf ball.

I found this mini figure by the dumpster while taking some boxes to the trash at work.
Does anyone know what set this guy is from?

He appeared in 8 Ninja sets in 1998/1999:

How were you able to ID it so fast? Is there a QR scanner app for minifigs or something I don't know about?
Re: Name that piece (the Brick/Minifigure identification top
The thing is most of us can identify a piece by sight-not the technical aspects like part number or sets it was in. Most lines in the Lego universe consist of a finite amount of sets. Zeya beat me to it-but once you know the general location of a piece the rest is a cakewalk with bricklink to help.

I also did a catalog search for "torso knife", had trouble with that and then had luck with "torso green vest". If you know how BL tends to name its parts, you can find stuff fairly quickly. At first I thought this was an Adventurers fig from maybe Orient Expedition, but didn't spot it in there. Then I did those searches.

nope. I have that one. =\
Re: Name that piece (the Brick/Minifigure identification top
Anyone have any idea what this is? A LEGO part number that I could use with peeron.com would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. There is no number printed on the piece, nor is there a LEGO logo.

Looks like a minifigure from set 6738 Island Xtreme Stunts. He is the Henchman minifig, but had a different hat in the set.StClair wrote:Anyone have any info about this minifigure?
