A funny thing happened..

Post by smilyremhof » Thu Sep 16, 2010 10:46 am

Just got on to the Lego website and went to the shopping area. All the prices are multiplied by 100, when you scroll down to the: what is recommended for you, best sellers, and new in shop area.

That is too funny. Talk about inflated prices!

Must have been a glitch in their 'localization'. That's what they call it when the text on the page changes due to where the visitor resides.

Are you sure the prices weren't in Yen? That's about the conversion rate.

I'm pretty sure when I was on earlier in the week that it was in Japanese, so you may be on to something.

I logged on once from a university computer and it hit me to the French site for some reason. Strange proxy servers I'm thinking.
