I rarely buy anything online. However, I received an Amazon gift card that want to use. I was going to buy the new pirate ship and had it in my cart forever, but never checked out. I came back to my cart the other day and the listing for 99.99 with free shipping from LEGO themselves, I believe, has gone away. In its place all I see now is outrageously over priced options charging even more ridiculous amounts for shipping.
The real question I have is: Will it ever be listed again for the normal 99.99 price and is it gone for good? I mean, it is a brand new set. I would think that it would be restocked, but again, I do not buy online ever.

Re: Buying from Amazon
It should be back. Just keep checking back.

Re: Buying from Amazon
What you're seeing are prices from third-party sellers; ie, not Amazon.
What happens a lot of the time with brand-new items is they start out as-normal from Amazon, sellers buy out the sock, then turn around to resell them at those ridiculous prices. Wait a bit and the regular stock from Amazon will come back. You can verify that on the item's page: instead of something like "ships from Amazon" you'll see random seller/store names instead.
