When are these supposed to launch? The 1st or the 6th? I've read both.

Oooh, it also links to a shop page and there's a very obvious 'limited quantity' sign at the top. Grrr it's going to be bedlam all over again for me...

Since it went live today, I'd say tomorrow.

but we'll know tomorrow for sure. :D

I like the animation for each one on the bios section.

One thing is confirmed...
A maximum of 16 minifigures may be ordered per address, per household.

But what about per account? I'm living in a university apartment complex at the moment and there are individual mailing addresses. Do you think I would be able to order some for each box?

I ordered 2 separate order of Series 1 before they removed the limit and they were sold out. The first order was 5 crash test dummies, the next one was more varied. I dropped a pretty penny of about 3.70/figure for the complete series 1 but I don't regret it. I really wanted those minifigures. Now they appear in my new comics. Woot woot.

I just got 5 with 5 off cause I didn't want to pay around $50, but still they had them before my local Walmart put them on shelves.

In total, it cost me about $17, so I'm praying for a Spartan, witch, Vampire, Pharaoh, or all of them ;)!

The little bios they give are pretty funny, although some are downright cheesy.

So end of this month or beginning of next month before these go out you think?
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Series 3 did not "officially" come out until January 1st. Meaning the Brand Stores and S@H didn't start selling them until then but other retailers did get them before that, based on that I would think Series 4 could start popping up at random retailers any time now. Keep your eyes peeled!

Series 5 has been added to http://minifigures.lego.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Did anyone notice the "Minifigures" logo animations (in the upper left-hand corner of the page) when you click on individual bios? I checked and they go all the way back to CMFs1 - is this a new addition, or have they always been there?

EDIT: The animations are mentioned previously in this topic - you'd think I'd read more thoroughly before shooting off my mouth, but no...
