Where can I find directions for old Lego sets?

Post by earl9371 » Sat Aug 28, 2010 1:14 pm

While knocking around Brickset this morning, I came across something that made my heart skip a beat. Although I'd forgotten about it until I saw it, I came across the first Lego set I ever owned - set #760-1, the London Bus (http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=760-1).

Since I found it I've been looking to see if I can track down directions for it anywhere as I'd LOVE to build it again. Any ideas as to where I can find online directions for some of this mid-70's set? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Try Lego.com, they might have it.

If it says '0' next to the "instructions" tab on Brickset, LEGO.com doesn't have it, as Brickset automatically pulls instruction files from LEGO.com.

Peeron is your best bet, but if you can't find it there you should ask around to see if anyone has them. They may be willing to scan and upload it or sell it to you.

Playing with LEGO when I can. Where does the time go?
