Artist Jason Freeny creates anatomical dissections cutaways of toys. He has been doing this for a little while now but I had never searched to see who he is and I was curious about how he does it. I'm posting images of his work with LEGO minifigs (or figures... most are larger than minifigure size). Be sure to check out more of his work at his blog http://moistproduction.blogspot.com/ or his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jason-Freeny/34170123768
For those that don't want to check out the many links of his work in progress (Thank you Jason Freeny for your many WIP images!) or this video interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWxWyA9Z41E I'll briefly explain that MOST of the time with MANY of his pieces he cuts away parts of toys and then uses clay or clay like material to build up the internal parts (bones or organs).
Here's a link to his WIP images of this https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 768&type=3
Here' a link to WIP images of this one on his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 768&type=3
Finally I have one additional image of a recent piece that I really like called "She has My Eyes!" There is a tiny bit of innocent and tasteful nudity so I'll provide a link to the image instead of actually posting the image Here's the link (on his facebook page) https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 768&type=3
