Featured Poll: March 29 - April 4
This week's question is on our front page Amazon.com Sales Updates. Prices at Amazon are fluctuating all the time. Are we posting their sales updates too often? As usual, comments and suggestions are more than welcome.

Some of these sales appear and disappear so fast, if T&B didn't post them then none of us would have a chance to find out about them. So I voted no.

I voted NO. If there are sales at every second, I don't care to see the update in every second. On the other hand, I found that the updates were not as fast as the items being sold out.

It takes quite a bit of time to browse through all the LEGO sets on Amazon so do I appriceate when people post updates to the sale prices.

I voted "no" as well. Posts like the ones that give updates on Amazon.com sales are what drew me to TNB and what keeps me checking TNB several times a day. :)
That said, perhaps there is some merit to keeping certain updates in the Sales and Deals forum rather than the front page, if only to reduce the amount of information on the front page. For example, the latest price changes could be on the front page and the rest could be in a post in the forums.

LOL 0-13 =) I think the quick and timely updates are what keep most of us clicking refresh here at TnB rather than on the evil Face-page. Even with the updates, we still miss some of them, so I am all about constant updates. If it's something that is changing frequently, maybe we should add a ticker or special section on the front page: "Best Lego Deals on Amazon as of 7am today:" Or some kind of "Featured sales at: Target, TRU, (the other partners and affiliates of TnB)".
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Is TnB FaceBook really that bad? We just started using the automatic feature a week ago and 2 people already "unlike" us.
I do know the pictures are important (which I will add back later). But when your FaceBooking, you can get instant updates if theres new posts.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that, I meant that I click refresh here, rather than click refresh on my Facebook page (like more ppl do). Meaning I have TnB pulled him, clicking refresh over and over for new posts, rather than FB over and over for new status updates :P
I didn't realize there was a TnB Facebook page... honestly I'd rather come straight to the source than go through FB.... I'd rather not everyone and their mother know my business. =)

I click and read once through most everything here on the forums. Though I have yet to click through and take advantage of these deals, it's just as fun to fantasize about owning one set at the nice price. Seeing Lego on the cheap is what most people are here for-so their threshold for deal messages is quite high.

Keep them coming and bring more!!!!
I want to be taunted by the Slave 1 for $60, as I keep declining to buy it. I keep hearing my wife in the back of my head "We have no more room for toys!" :(
