Thank You to Toys N Bricks and Members
I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone who has been diligently posting every sale they can find and discussing and sharing their finds about what sets are out and what is available where. These sales keep on flying out of stores and we're on top of the ball at each and every turn.
Keep up the good work!

I'm continually enjoy this website and I hope it continues to grow in the direction it has already. I'm always impressed by the deals that are found and this website always seems to be right on top of them.

Somehow finding this site, while making me rich in LEGO, has made me that much poorer in actual currency. I blame Ice :P

It's true, this has to have been my best year for Lego deals so far and it's because of this solid network.

Love saving on lego. Unfortunately I'm going to be running out of space. Is it safe to store your lego in the attic ?

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but I just want to put out a BIG thank you. Even though I've spent more money on LEGO than ever since finding this forum, I've also saved a ton! Never again will I pay full price. Thank you all for doing such a great job. Wish I could contribute and share some finds on deals, but there is always someone out there who beats me to it. I feel guilty for not contributing. Hope to find a deal before the rest of you soon so I can share the wealth.

Does your attic get hot or is it properly insulated and ventilated? There is no storage instructions anymore but in the 80s tlc used to have an instructional care pamphlet. You are not to store the plastics in temp greater than 40c or below 5c. And you are to clean using mild dishwasher liquid and warm water. If the composition hasn't changed much I would think it's best not to subject your pieces to extreme temperature. Try the basement instead.slacker wrote:Love saving on lego. I used to scour for garage sale lego sets in the past but from my experience most people store them in the garage where it is frequently subjected to extreme weather conditions. The pieces are usually very brittle and cracks easily.

Re: Thank You to Toys N Bricks and Members
I'd avoid subjecting the softer plastic pieces to hotter and colder temperatures. The softer plastic makes it more likely to either melt or become brittle.

I ran across this forum once I realized the old Lego crazy in me had returned via my daughter. I appreciate all the posts and look to chip in when I can. Thanks! :D
