We hope you had a Happy Easter filled with lots of fun building. Yesterday was April 1st meaning it was April's Fools day as well.
We did consider closing the website in the past and it almost became a reality. But don't worry, we've made the decision that Toys N Bricks is not going anywhere. We're working on the new website whenever we have time so please stay tune. As always, thank you all for your continued support in us. (:

Wow am I a fool. I was so bummed out that I went on BrickLink and posted about the shutdown. I am sure everyone had a good laugh
. Oh well, it wasn't the first time I had been made a fool and it certainly won't be the last (sigh). I should have thought about the date.
But I an just so glad that it was an April fools day joke and that you guys are really staying here!! I have used this the info here soo many times to find good deals on Lego.
Thank you very much!

Don't feel bad. Sometimes the April Fool's pranks online are so over the top that its almost sad. The really good ones are the believable ones. Websites shut down all the time, so it was completely believable. I don't post here as often as I used to, but I still pop in to check out the news and sales pages, so I'm glad its sticking around.

A lot of it was true and that message was supposed to go probably sometime last year. But its now been decided that the site will remain. Sorry folks if it went a little overboard. ):

Happy to hear that it was just an April fool's joke. While this site isn't all that busy I'd miss it if it was gone.
