There are some great deals out there right now, but every time I see these huge discounts from Amazon I can't help but think that LEGO sets at MSRP are very overpriced.

A lot of LEGO is overpriced, Star Wars and City, but a lot of it isn't too bad. The Lone Ranger, NinjaGo, most of Chima are all decently priced.

Good sales on the Castle stuff and I still can't bring myself to buy them. I'm usually a huge castle fan, but they're just missing that little spark of magic (that je nais se quoi, if you will) somehow. I can't even explain how.

Maybe its that they are obviously just retools of very recent sets...?

Just look at it as $33 for a cool dragon to add to your medieval sets...

Some of us already have two dragons from the awesome Fantasy Castle line in 2006-2008. ;)
