Walmart LEGO Clearance Fall 2013

New wave of clearance! Only 1 Wal*Mart I visited had some sets marked down more.

Crossing my fingers that my Walmart will drop their prices that low on what they have left.... I went by after seeing your post and they are still double the prices you posted.

2 out of the 3 Wal*Marts still had the regular 'clearance' prices... I think I was just lucky this time (which I was long overdue for!).

Walmart in Richmond CA has at least six Mirkwood Spiders @ $11.00. Good parts pack/army builder at that price. There is some other discounted LotR and SW but only 30% off.

Question for those who are finding clearance Lego at Walmart - are you finding them in the clearance shelf or aisle or do you have to scan them from the regular Lego aisle to check that they are actually on clearance?

There is usually a red clearance shelf label, and at the Walmarts around here, the clearance is mostly 25 to 35%.
And most of the store never do a second level of clearance, so items will hang around for years. I recently saw a set of action figures that are still on clearance from at least 6 years ago. And they are still at the same (overpriced) clearance price.

By now I think most stores have done their reset, so the clearance *should* be in the clearance section, wherever that may be. My store, however, has Wargs both on the clearance island and on the aisle. I'd say there is very little chance now of finding something not marked on the aisle itself. I went to enough stores scanning Batcaves to have my hopes soundly crushed.

@bobl down here in the deep south you rarely find any clearance items with the clearance stickers in the clearance shelf/aisle and as with most clearance down here they don't make it past the second level since most of the stuff is grabbed at the first clearance no matter if it's just 10%

@brickarmor this is true - almost every other Walmart here has already reset their shelves and here the clearance shelves are almost zilch or they just don't have one - hence the reason why I asked if some of the people are scanning.

Wal-mart in Garland,TX off Northwest HWY has big pile of toys in aisle at front of store.

Sorry for the names but you all know what sets they are... No Star Wars or Super Hero sets. One Galaxy set. They had at least five of each Hobbit set.

Definitely YMMV, but the Sacramento Walmart on El Camino Ave. had a full case of series 11 minifigs for $2 each, and a couple sets like Mirkwood Spiders for $21. I never even saw the minifigs in that store before they hit the clearance shelf.

For anyone in the NW suburbs of Chicago, the Walmart on Golf Road in Schaumburg near the Woodfield Mall had several sets on clearance in the back of the toy section. I saw 2x mirkwood spiders at 21$ each, a bug obliterated for 54$, a chima set (like a tank with 3 guys) for 21$, and 15x (yes 15x) warg attack for 35$. I bought 1 warg set and left everything else.

Noted my local Walmart had the Spiderman Doc set marked down to $23.97 and the SW Falcon to $99.99.

I went to the Wal-Mart in Putnam, CT today and still found the 600 piece box for $15 (the listed black friday price). This is an entire week past the sale date and I thought I'd share it here as there might be others out there. I bought the last one at that store but keep your eyes peeled elsewhere.

I found it in the toy clearance aisle which was pretty haphazard and pawed through.

Also Goblin King (at least 5 today) were discounted about 30% (maybe more - I forget) near the games.
