Same stuff as a couple of weeks ago, or is anyone finding new items on clearance?

The only LEGO on clearance at my store were a few Chima Speedorz sets.

Superman: Black Zero Escape $17 or $18

** I bought this and it did ring up regular price at $29.99. The cashier did override it. It is probably a price mistake.

Any finds in the Chicagoland area? I went to 2 local Kmarts and came up empty handed. There were tons of clearance toys on sale at 50% off just not Lego sets. Absolutely nothing at the one in Norridge and a lonely Hobbit board game on N Elston in Chicago.

I think that the Stagecoach Escape, Superman: Black Zero Escape and the Calendars were all ringing up incorrectly two weeks ago but are now fixed. They all went back up to full price at my stores. Did the Superman: Black Zero Escape still ring at $9 at your store? None of my stores had a Superman: Battle of Smallville on clearance last time or this time.

Picked up a Forest Police Station for $30.00 in Redlands, it wasn't tagged but scanned at 50%.

Also saw the 30242 Republic Frigate polybags in Fontana for 3.99 and grabbed a couple.

All the good clearance stuff was snapped up 2 weeks ago. Whatever there is just the leftovers.. Nothing new has been added to the toy clearance.

Looks like i'll be making another trip to the local KMarts to check them out. Even if I don't find lego there is usually something good for the little boy

I checked the one in Closter NJ. Nothing but summer toys for 50% off the lowest tagged price. Not a bad deal. Got a few small kiddy pools for $12.50. reg $50.

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up Battle of Smallville for $22.50. Oddly, it was not clearanced last time. Odder still, several sets clearanced last time, were back to full price.

I checked a Kmart in Colorado that had them for 50% off last time but the Lone Ranger Stagecoach and the Superman black zero escape, a Chima Speedor, as well as the new City & Star Wars Advent calendars were back to ringing up at full price. Some sets that were clearanced at one store were still ringing up as full price at a different store, so it is very random. I did find one City fire plane that I did not see last time and a galaxy squad set that were scanning at 50% off, but almost everything else was taken during the last sale.

Shoot. They had a bunch of fire planes, and that was about the only set I didn't scan.

I went to my Kmart and no lego were on clearance. When you guys are saying you price check the sets, that is just the general scanner in the aisle right? You guys aren't getting clearance prices by going to the cashier right? If you are then I will be out hunting tomorrow!

BTW I am in NNJ.
