I've never been in this situation, I'm guessing I wouldn't get the promos but, if I ordered a set that is currently listed as " out of stock will ship in nov". Would I get the double VIP points and promos? I'm guessing I'd get the double points but not the promos. Can anyone verify for me that is what would happen?

Call them and ask. I believe you will be ok with getting the Xmas set and double points.

According to the small print for the holiday set promo "Offers exclude backorder items". In the past the VIP points earned have always been whatever was shown at checkout.

Put your order in. It said the same for me too, "back ordered", but they got my order through somehow and found enough inventory. If it doesn't fill, then call and cancel the day after the promo ends or last day of promo. You'll have to watch it close. Or just call them, I'm sure they will take care of you.

Is anyone else not seeing the free holiday set 1 of 2 in their online 'bag' when adding $99+? Looks like the promo set is done...

Yep, it's done. No store minifig, no christmas set.....no business from me.

It was "Until supplies last".

Guess they ran out two days early. I don't even like the holiday set that much, the truck is so much better.

Yeah, I realize it was "until supplies last" but I'm just surprised - I guess they're getting better at predicting demand/production run these days. Also disappointed because it's the first Holiday Exclusive promo that I haven't gotten. I suppose they'll be on eBay, Bricklink and BrickOwl.

You had 2 weeks to get an order in. Why did you wait until so close to the last minute?

Because other, slightly more important things took precedence. Namely, the mortgage and bills.

Agree that there are far more important things that come before Lego. The promo always end up on eBay, Bricklink and BrickOwl for $10-$20, so people can still buy them if they missed it.

I just placed an order this morning and it did not appear in my bag, should I contact lego?

It's highly unlikely you'll get the promo with any order placed today. If you wait til black friday to place your order, you'll get the truck promo instead of nothing now (except 2x VIP points of course).

You either have to buy LEGOs when they have the sale, or don't be shocked when they run out.

At least the set is the worst one yet in the winter theme, so you aren't missing much.

I also waited, but I called LEGO and they said they would add a 10$ item to my cart for free. I decided to try my local store but they were also out. However they were nice enough to give me a pick a brick cup for free. That was great since they had the 1X2 grey bricks with the mason design ... score!
