New 20% off Yoyo.com [20LABORDAY]

Post by nbaisfantastic » Thu Aug 29, 2013 8:11 am

Good for one item. Expires on 9/2 and has a max discount of $40.

All of the modulars and DS are no longer available (in my area at least), but the Constitution Train is still only $71.99 after discount.

If you make a new account, you can combine 20LABORDAY with YOYO20OFF to drop the price of the train to $54.

You're all welcome! Other sets you can use both on are King's Castle or Pirate Ship Ambush. It would make each about $60.

Here's a link to all LEGO sets sorted from highest to lowest:

I'm tempted by the Lion Chi Temple...my daughter was admiring it at the store.

to take advantage, i'll have to create a new account. What constitutes a new account? payment address?

I tried making a new account but it detected the same shipping address and said it doesn't work. Is there a workaround for this? Could I use a different name and it would work?

Nope. Real annoying.

Only way around is to use Paypal, and try to slightly change your name or address.

Does anyone know when these codes expire?

I can't decide what I want yet lol. The ghost train for $48 including tax is very tempting.

Talk about bad luck. I'm in there figuring out how to checkout with a new account, having successfully stacked both codes, and then the codes stop stacking before I can check out. BS.

This happened to me as well (and I have moved since I last ordered from yoyo so I thought it was going to work with the new address.)

The issue is I have ordered from them both with my credit card and paypal before. It knows when I try to plug in either and removes the first time buyer code. I'm going to try one of the wife's cards later today, that should do it.

Hopefully it works out, Jabbas Sailbarge would be nice to grab for $75.

I don't think it has to do with that. Some jerk on slickdeals called to complain about something and clued customer service onto the fact that the codes were stacking for people and now they eliminated the ability to stack. I was going about using new information to set up a new account since I had ordered something from them this summer. By the time I realized I should try using paypal, the codes weren't stacking anymore. Now it's either/or of the two 20% discounts. Such a bummer man. My kid and I have been wanting that ship too. Just goes to show you can't take breaks from checking on lego sales or you'll miss something.

Son of a gun!!!

I should have gotten the deal yesterday! Now the ghost train isn't listed. *deep breath* Oh well...

Just goes to show that you can't have second thoughts about sale purchases. This really bums me out.

To the person who was looking for a deal on the ship, check target stores, the ship is on clearance for $70 at some stores.

I ordered the Pirate Ship Ambush yesterday for $63 and it arrived this morning... though, it took a lot of special effort.

I managed to get one more order in last night, used another email address, husband's name, parent's address and paid with paypal...not easy.

Also it only gave me $20 off for the referral code (used my own referral code) and my item was $119.99. Still not a bad deal and I got a shipping confirm. I hope I don't get banned, :lol:no
