the discount is 30% because it already has the 10% baked in. the final price is 40% off retail. as i said earlier, ignore the 10% discount and you will get the right amount after coupon.

the 10% threw people off because the discount becomes 30% only. the net amount is still 40% off, it's just that the 10% is before coupon and 30% from coupon, together they will give you 40% off. as i said earlier, ignore the 10% and you will get the right price after coupon.

I ordered from them before and only have to pay sales tax and shipping. The shipping is very reasonable.

I'm pretty sure they're shipped from within Canada, direct from Lego's warehouses rather than b&n. The orders arrive in shipping boxes matching those that Lego sends to retailers and that would also explain the surprisingly low shipping cost, even with large sets.

shipping cost is flat rate of $6.48 for 1st item, $8.97 for two items, etc regardless of size
gst is on top of item price and shipping cost.

when you get your invoice, it shows higher taxes paid but thats only on paper; you only paid the gst as per the online order confirmation

barnes and noble may ship from various warehouses; sometimes they are shipped in the lego boxes, sometimes they are shipped in bn boxes. majority of the time, its bn boxes based on my 5 years of ordering from them.

the coupon code does not work.Tried applying it and nothing shows up. I also notice every product for lego now has this: "This item does not qualify for coupons or promotional discounts unless expressly stated."

It was the same way with the last coupon they had. It made me very sad because all of the creator houses are not listed under 'Toys and Games.' You can still pick up a Battle of Alamut though.

Yes, but bear in mind that Battle of Alamut is already discounted 10% (as is Quest Against Time), so you will only get 40% off the full price, thereby only receiving a 30% discount off their current sale price. Anakin's Y-wing is also eligible. I haven't seen the V-19 on there at all, so either it's sold out or I call shenanigans.

EDIT: I am planning on getting 'Fight for the Dagger' with the discount, then adding 'Desert Attack' to bring it up to free shipping. This effectively makes 'Desert Attack' free. Neither of those is on original discount and I'm banking on getting the larger sets on clearance.
