What heat are you referring to? The heat from a spouse about spending so much? The temperature outside?

That flyer is odd. It clearly says use in stores or online, even providing you with a code to use. But if you look at the fine print of that coupon, it says in store only.

It's true that most of TRU's prices are marked up, negating much of the discount from their sales, but there are times when you can find actual deals. It seems whenever there is a post informing the community of a TRU sale, a high percentage of the discussion taking place is complaints about the prices and policies etc. Every so often, though, there are people who post quality info on how to stack deals to get some nice savings.

Yes, the 30% off one clearance item can work on-line with weathertop. You need to remove the Lone Ranger freebie first, though. TRU allows only one promo per item.

Weird. It worked for me yesterday, but is not working today. Weathertop is clearly listed under the 'clearance' section of the web-site, and other LEGO Planet items there accept the BLAST30 code. Maybe give them a call, and they can adjust it? Stupid TRU.

If you find either buy them. The Alien Conquest base is one of the best built sets LEGO has made in years. So much fun.

if you can still find TIE-Fighter Polybags(44pcs,retail 4.99), it would come out 7.48 +tax for two. Not much of a steal of a deal though.

Oh that does work, maybe I'll have to go back tomorrow night. They had a whole bunch of planet sets. I don't have any, but I'll use them as ornaments.

I did two transactions:

4 star wars plants for $27.94 and a free SW poly (they were out of the Z whatever so they gave me a different one). Series 1 were 8.98 and series 2 were 9.98. Surprisingly they had the one series 1 that we didn't have.

I got two of the Star Wars Advent Calendars for $35.99 after bogo 50% and he 30% off one clearance item coupon. I also got a second SW Poly.
