so, i''d like to know why they update the status to "items located in stock" and then cancel orders.

Didn't really have time....also one would hope that if you order within minutes it should go through. I placed my order a good 30 minutes before it sold out. Toys-r-us has really crappy linkage between their online store and actual inventory.
