If you live close enough to a Lego store, you still have a chance to get one today morning.

I'm surprised that it took nearly an hour to sell out, they must have had a ton to sell. I wonder how many people loaded up with 5 of them though as well, not that I care.

Iam sure many folks loaded 5 of them, but I don't see this set becoming a gainer in years to come, I had been debating on its merits and demerits for the last hour until I finally decided and it's gone
Let's take a count how many TNB folks ordered one?

A friend of mine in the US got me 3, plus an X-wing.

Given the B-wing is $300 here, getting them was a no-brainer for me...

I think it will appreciate decently if you're willing to hold onto it for 2-3 years especially considering what the original MSRP is and that many just paid half that. But I do agree that it won't see gains like many other sets released. I mean it just came out in Oct (according to Brickset) so 7-8 months ago and it's already on sale for 50% off, that has to say something. Who knows though, maybe this set discontinues soon and doubles it's original MSRP after 2 years so 400% growth. As they say hindsight is 20/20.

Doubt it will have much gain for a couple of resons, it is not really an iconic ship compared to the X-wing, it did not sell well at all at full price ever since it came out, possible remakes in say 3-5 years if Lego did not learn their lesson. One thing for sure, I will laugh at those that tries to flip this and expect a big profit like say next week?

^ True, it could be another 10215 - Obi-Wan's Starfighter. Nobody's making a fortune on that on eBay.

I ordered 1. I made damn sure I was online and ready to order the moment the sale was live! I also ordered the Orc Forge in preparation for the Tower of Orthanc. :) I'll probably be too lazy to try get another B-Wing at the Lego store tomorrow... driving to Oakridge sucks.

They just have to wait a week and flip it for $125 and still make a 25% profit. Easy to undercut the MSRP for a while and still make money on it.

I also bit on the TRU deal. Pretty bummed on no Han figure as well but I do have the blue jacket Han anyway from Hoth Echo Base plus I still get the B-Wing at 50% off. Which is still sick! :-D I'm still scared of Toysrus shipping/online tho.

I've only tried to order from them once before way back on a store pickup and they flat out cancelled my order saying they didn't have the item in store. Showed up there in person and they have like 20! LOL. Customer Service rep on phone said it's up to the manager to approve those kind of things. They must of thought I was getting a good deal at $10 off on the Y-Wing and didn't want any part of that, or didn't look hard enough I guess. It was an in-store promo as well so I just paid cash and didn't bring the issue up with the Store Manager. Very weird.
